Let me (re)introduce myself….. What a ride it’s been since I took a massive leap of faith, and together with my family purchased Stella’s Pantry 9 months ago. Time really does fly when 1) you’re having fun, and 2) you’re in the depths of a huge learning curve! Hey, I’m Lauren/Loz, and I’m so excited to now own Stella’s. I’ve been a foodie for most of my life, when at the tender age of around 12 I decided that all I wanted to do when I grew up was be a chef. And despite being a complete nerd at high school and smashing Year 12, I took myself off to trade school and became a qualified chef. As a local gal, of course I started my apprenticeship at the Warragul Golf Club, then moved and trained in Melbourne, at Waterfront, The Grand Hyatt, and a number of other café’s and wineries. Fast forward through a career change into HR, growing my family, and running my cake brand @_blueandruby_ for the past 9 years, and here I am, laughing away in my very own café on Victoria St Warragul! Full circle moment? Hell yes! Loving being surrounded by glorious food and not working nights as a chef? YESSSSS! If you love food as much as I do, please pop in and say hi! #warragul #warragulcafe #deli #warraguleats #stellaspantry #warraguldeli #coffee #gippslandbusiness #cheese #gippsland taken in Warragul, Victoria by @stellaspantry

This is a beautiful community story of two years worth of “tip money” being exchanged for much needed essentials, donated to the @bawbawfoodrelief I wanted to make sure the relief got what they needed - a quick call established that they really needed shampoo, conditioner, sliced cheese and margarine. The tip money our customers generously left us has paid for this shopping trolley full of goods. To the Stella’s Pantry customers who left us a few cents here or there - you’ve helped those in need x And to the Baw Baw Food Relief - no words can match how valuable your work is within our community x taken in Baw Baw Food Relief by @stellaspantry
