🚧🌱 GROUND BREAKING HAS BEGUN! 🌱🚧

From a dream… to a drawing… to the view outside my classroom window. The future home of Green Bronx Machine is becoming REAL! 💚🏗️

With dreams come responsibilities.

I’ve said it for years:

“People should not have to leave their own neighborhood to live, learn, and earn in a better one.”

And now, right here in the Bronx, we are watching another BIG seed take root. 🌱

The future Green Bronx Machine home will be part of Sol on Park — bringing housing, health, wellness, education, and community resources together under one roof. 🏡🥗📚

I get to look out my classroom window and watch it rise from the ground. How AMAZING is that?! 🤠🙌

We are the folks we are waiting for!

Deep gratitude to everyone who has believed, partnered, planned, and worked to bring this vision to life. 🙏💚

From the Bronx to the world — ¡Sí Se Puede! 🌱

🐣 I’VE HATCHED! 🤠

After a week of living solo in a tent, I’ve emerged with my HATCH family feeling a little kinder, a little wiser, more empathetic, healthier — and incredibly grateful. 🙏💚

You learn A LOT about yourself when you spend a week in a tent. ⛺️ And you learn even more when you surround yourself with extraordinary humans committed to connection, growth, and making a difference.

Huge thanks to Yarrow Kraner, @yarrowk , the entire HATCH 100 family, and the incredible crew who made this experience EPIC.

Heading home to the Bronx, NYC with a full heart, a clearer mind, new friendships, and plenty to think about. 💚🤠

More to follow — stay tuned!

We are ALL farmers of some sort. 🌱🤠

This Labor Day, I’m thinking about the people who plant, build, teach, grow, cook, clean, care, create, and show up every single day to keep our communities moving forward. 💚

Every day we’re planting seeds, doing the work, tending what matters, and hopefully leaving something better for those who come next.

Today, we honor the work AND the workers — and never forget the dignity, pride, and purpose found in a job well done. 🙌🇺🇸

As for me… there’s nowhere else I’d rather be than Down on the Farm! 🌱🚜🤠

Happy Labor Day! 💚

WOW! 🤠💚🙏

What an honor to learn I’ve been ranked #7 among the Top 200 Global LinkedIn Voices in Education for 2026 by Favikon! 🌎📚🌱

I had no idea people were even paying attention! 🙌🤣

But if they are, I hope they’re paying attention to what matters most: our kids, our teachers, our schools, and the power of education to change lives and communities. 💚

From the Bronx to the world, I’m grateful to everyone who continues to learn, grow, share, support, and believe alongside us.

And WOW — what company to be in! Congratulations to everyone on this list. 👏👏👏

We grow something greater! 🌱💚🤠

Success isn’t about never falling. It’s about ALWAYS getting back up! 💚🌱

Every setback is a lesson. Every challenge is an opportunity. And every time we get back up, we climb a little higher.

For our kids, the greatest lesson we can teach is to keep going.

Fall down. Get up. Learn. Grow. Repeat. 💪🌱

THIS IS MY WHY!!! 💚🌱

I remember the first day of school for each of these children—and for Mom, too. Not a word of English was spoken, but WOW, did they love the garden!

Safe places = happy faces. 😊

Season after season, they helped us plant, paint and grow. Today, every one of the children is an honor student thriving in school. Mom has a great job as a bilingual community coordinator—and they still come back to the garden every day. 🙌

We are the folks we’ve been waiting for!

At @greenbronxmachine, we grow high-performing schools, happy and healthy children, resilient communities and opportunities. We grow vegetables—and our vegetables grow children, schools and communities. 🌱🥗

THIS is my why—and the hill I will die on! Proud to be here in the South Bronx, today and every day. 🤠💚

How can we help you grow something greater?

I so love the Bronx — it’s my tar beach! 🏙️💚
(Teachers will 💚 that reference! 🙌)

Grateful to spend the morning with my dear friend Chauncy Young, scoping out Bronx rooftops and dreaming BIG! ☀️🌱

We’re planning the largest solar rooftop farm in the Bronx — and the first on an HDFC housing cooperative! 🏢☀️🌿

Stay tuned… and if you’re interested in getting involved, HOLLA! ☎️📲

Find your passion. Find your purpose. Then go ALL IN! 💚🌱

For me, it has always been about our kids, our schools, our communities — and the belief that we can change outcomes and trajectories one child, one classroom, one community at a time.

That’s the work. That’s the mission. That’s the joy. 🙏💚
