We spent the morning with students from PS 168 to celebrate the new classroom space and mobile kitchen station donated by @wellsfargo in support of @greenbronxmachine efforts to expand nutrition education in the Bronx. The three new classroom sites will serve schools across District 75, some of which have the highest rates of asthma and food insecurity in the city. As @stephenritz says “students can’t be well read, if they are not well fed” and the expansion of these classroom spaces will allow us to continue to implement nutrition education, as laid out by our Food Education Roadmap, such that healthy schools lead the way in building healthy communities

I had a wonderful time with the amazing leaders in the organic food industries at @MBArk CU Boulder, where I learned from their insights and experiences.

I was also honored to meet other inspiring people like @Stephen Ritz (Founder, Green Bronx Machine), who is making a positive difference in communities around the world.

Although I was far from my RAMS @CSU, I did not let the rivalry between the schools get in the way of my learning and networking. I even managed to sneak in a few friendly jabs at the Buffaloes whenever I could. 😜

I am grateful to @Joe Dobrow, for creating this opportunity where MBAs, CPGs and policy makers could collaborate and innovate to advance the movement for enhancing life in communities.

This was a valuable and rewarding experience for me and I am so glad I was part of this journey. 🌱

2023: A Year of Growth, Impact, and Defining What TWG Stands For

What a year it’s been! 2023 saw TWG expand our client roster to 19 across 3 verticals (SPORTS, IMPACT, and ADVENTURE). We also diversified our services, offering Business Advisory, Creative, Partnerships, and Speaking expertise to help our clients reach their full potential.

But beyond numbers, this year was about building community.

We celebrated our 4th anniversary with our team and clients at the Ed Sheeran concert, began representing Common Goal to promote social good in sports, and created partnerships to provide resources with MiiR, BetterHelp, Biolite, and Teva for Boyz N The Wood outings.

We were also thrilled to witness the victories of our incredible clients:

*Carol Solberg’s Beach Volleyball triumphs
*Kenny Nielsen drafted by LAFC in the MLS
*Shyanne Sellers’ UMD Basketball dominance
*Nate Kurisky and Louisville Football’s national ranking
*Jeremy Casebeer’s @fairharbor Boardshorts

These achievements showcase the diverse talent and dedication we represent at TWG.

2023 was the year we truly defined our mission: to become the most trusted business partners for mission-driven individuals and brands.

Thank you to our amazing community of peers, colleagues, and partners who have placed their trust in us. Your support means the world.

Here’s to a healthy, enjoyable, and incredible 2024! We can’t wait to achieve even greater things together.

Today was truly extraordinary! As part of COP28 taking place in Dubai, Fairgreen welcomed #Decarbonize students from around the globe for a day filled with inspiring discussions on sustainability.

The visit included some time with our dedicated Fairgreen Eco Council students, engaging presentations during the assembly, and classroom visits aimed at raising environmental awareness. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on this impactful day.

I joined our community members and government colleagues in commemorating the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly revitalized Bissel Gardens. This enduring community garden, a cornerstone of the Northeast Bronx for over 25 years, has thrived through the dedication of our community gardeners and collaborative efforts with partners. This past weekend marked a transformative moment in Bissel’s history, made possible by the New York Restoration Project, Viking Global Foundation, and the unwavering dedication of community volunteers. The revitalization project, bringing together hundreds of gardeners and volunteers, has turned Bissel Gardens into the breathtaking space it is today.

I want to recognize Charles “Chuck” Vasser and Reverend Donald Yearwood of the National Association for Black Veterans (NABVETS), whose years of commitment have been instrumental in fostering the growth of our community. I also thank my colleagues, State Senator Jamal T. Bailey, Council Member Kevin C. Riley, and Council Member Eric Dinowitz.

“Not all heroes wear capes, some wear work boots.” Honored to stand with our community members and colleagues in government to celebrate the ribbon-cutting of the new and revitalized Bissel Gardens! For over 25 years, this vibrant community garden has been a labor of love, thanks to the efforts of our community gardeners and partners. Today, we mark a new chapter in Bissel's history, made possible by the @nyrp, Viking Global Foundation, and community volunteers. The revitalization project brought together hundreds of gardeners and volunteers to transform the Northeast Bronx’s first community garden into the beautiful space it is now.

I had the opportunity to recognize two local heroes - Charles “Chuck” Vasser and Reverend Donald Yearwood of NAB Vets – who've poured years of heart into our community and helped us grow in more ways than one. Thanks to our incredible community members, @assemblymanjeffreydinowitz, @cmkevincriley, and @ericdinowitznyc for their continued support and partnership!
