Real estate friends! Come end your month with us in Wilmington talking shop about this market, what’s working, what’s not, and what we’re planning for 2027!
•
We’ve got an awesome lineup of speakers, great topics, and plenty of time for the roundtable discussions our workshops have become known for.
•
@theinspirationlab we believe in the collective wisdom of the women in the room. Especially THIS room, filled with experienced agents who’ve been doing this for decades and have hundreds of transactions under their belts.
•
And refreshingly, nobody is here to sell you anything, recruit you, or ask if you need health insurance. 🤣☠️ (If you’re in real estate, you know.)
•
If you leave with a good idea or two, a new connection, a few laughs, and a gift bag full of things you don’t immediately want to throw away, I’ve done my job!

My first ever girls golf weekend and I loved every minute of it. Thanks for sharing it with me @meganwmullins 🫶🏻
•
As an observation, I have never seen so many grown men carrying merchandise bags and collecting golf tees like they were friendship bracelets at a Taylor Swift concert. The outfits, the meticulous planning, the respect and love for the game, and the instant connection you have with other people there – I am beginning to understand why people get obsessed with this game - consider me one of them. 🙋🏼‍♀️

In honor of Andrew’s birthday here are some previously unreleased photos of him being his awesome self. Between the nature photography 😂, hair that deserves its own hashtag, willingness to travel anywhere and never taking things (or himself) too seriously - it’s easy to love and celebrate him. Leadership is more than how you lead a team. It’s also about how you lead yourself. Someone who has leadership as a core value will eventually feel drained in a role where they have responsibility without authority or influence without ownership. That’s why this quote resonates so deeply with me. Leadership isn’t just about managing people. It’s about managing your attention and making sure your calendar reflects what you say matters most. Every so often, we all have to ask ourselves: Is our center of gravity in the right place? Sometimes the answer requires putting our lives back into alignment.
•
There’s a subtle trap leaders can fall into, especially in competitive industries like real estate. We begin to believe that if the environment is hard, then we have to become harder to survive. I don’t think that’s true.
•
You don’t have to amputate your personality to earn credibility. You can become wiser without becoming colder. More discerning without becoming suspicious of everyone around you. You can protect yourself without pretending you don’t have a kind heart. To me, those aren’t contradictions. They’re signs of maturity.
•
The best leaders understand that success isn’t measured by their own performance alone, but by the success of the people around them. One of my favorite things to witness is someone who genuinely lights up when the team wins. That’s usually a pretty good indication you’re in the presence of a true leader. For those of us wired this way, our team is the center of gravity that keeps us grounded. 💛

When I look at these photos, I see Oliver, but I also see the people we love. The ones who change the world and are so rarely noticed.
•
They’re patient and kind. They dance at the in-your-living-room prom. They celebrate little victories that most people never even notice.
•
Thank you, Ellie (and to so many others in these photos and beyond) for loving our sweet Oliver so well. You remind us that the world is changed one relationship at a time, and that every step and every smile is truly a gift.

This April was a whirlwind of color, fun, and azaleas.

We danced our way from a concert to a wedding to a gala—and eventually back to our living room.

I spent the month with people I love, doing things I enjoy (and, other than golf 🤣, am actually pretty good at): holding puppies, selling houses, and of course, making our sweet Ollie smile. taken in Wilmington, North Carolina by @stephlanier

Happy things - give back things - friends(!)- business things - family(!) - fundraiser things - travel - concerts - *so* many real estate things. So far this year has had some real joy packed into it and that’s such a gift.
•
Is this a highlight reel - you bet. Are there things with Ollie that have been hard the past few months - of course. That’s just regular life with a medically fragile kid. And look, we aren’t special, we know – many of you are caregivers too. Juggling things 99% of people have no idea about. What you are doing for your loved one is beautiful. But it can also be lonely and taxing on the body and the mind.
•
And yet, our glass is still half full over here because we keep working hard to fill it up (that’s the secret!) with love, faith, laughter and gratitude. And all those good things listed above. 💛 taken in Wilmington, North Carolina by @stephlanier

Ollie lately – lots of smiles! His teacher said he even had the best day of the school year this past week! 🫶🏻 Per usual he continues to fight off seizures like a champ and show us what true resilience looks like. What a kid! We’re grateful he’s ours. #giveeverythingbutup @andrewleelanier by @stephlanier
