Huge shoutout to my dude @kylerkitchens with his first 2000 lb total at sub 220 BW. This is the lightest lifter with a 2K plus total I’ve coached. This guy works extremely hard and listens extremely well to any cues or advice I give and I am so proud to see this day come together the way it did. The best part is this is still just the beggining 😈 by @strength_architect

I have several goals I’ve had for a while of coaching lifters into hitting certain numbers. Coaching someone to a 600 lb platform bench has been one for a while and has come SO CLOSE several times. Today @mason_theox earned his first platform bench of 600, my first one to coach, and it was well earned and definitely due. Super proud of him and so thankful to have him as an athlete. He really does make my job easy and works his ass off in AND out of the gym. I wish more people put in the work and had the mentality Mason has. The best part is, we’re honestly just getting started😈
I’ll let him post his full recap, so check that out when it drops @mason_theox

I don’t like to boast too much on my page about my athletes, as they are the ones lifting the weight and they deserve the props for their work on their own pages. I am blessed and thankful for the roster of lifters that trust me to perform their best on the platform but I have to say I’m extremely proud of myself and @its_perseus for the performance at the @pioneer_fit @uspatexas Tribute this weekend. It has been a dream of mine to work with some of the strongest lifters in the world and this has definitely been a step in that direction. Perseus put on a phenomenal performance with a @uspapower world record squat of 903, all time bench Pr of 578, and deadlift PR of 783 going 8-9 with a 587 wilks narrowly missing an 821 deadlift. 3rd overall in the meet amongst a stacked roster, 6th overall 275 all time and 1st in the USPA all time. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for all of my lifters and I can’t wait for the next opportunity to coach at another high caliber meet with him and the rest of the team

4x15 Deficit Pushups by @strength_architect

Easily my favorite bang for buck leg excercise at the moment.
Rear foot elevated deficit split squat on a smith machine..
absolute killer of a movement and does not take much weight if proper range of motion is used
Entire workout today was
Leg extension x 25,20,15,12,10
Leg curl x 25,20,15,12,10
RFE split squat 4x10 each leg
Single leg RDL 3x10
Bike sprint 50 cal
Simple, and very effective by @strength_architect

Stop focusing so much on finishing the set and start making every rep count. One of my favorite coaching cues: Don’t think of it as 1 set of 10. Think of it as 10 sets of 1.

Train with intent. by @strength_architect

Help people because you genuinely want to, not because you expect something in return. You never know how the good you put into the world might come back around one day. Have the right intentions, treat people well, and let the rest take care of itself. by @strength_architect

A few minutes of mobility every day can go a long way. I spend 5–10 minutes stretching before bed to unwind and work on mobility. Nothing complicated, just consistency. by @strength_architect

Everyone has different reasons for wanting to be successful. These are mine.

Take care of my family, be in a position to help the people around me, and own some of the cars I used to dream about as a kid.

Nothing too complicated. Just trying to build a pretty cool life along the way.
