Sticky Keys (Gonja Hifi)

Since 2010, Sticky Keys has been rocking crowds at Reggae and Hip Hop parties throughout South-East Asia, spanning Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bali, and Bangkok. Since establishing himself in Bangkok, he has earned a coveted spot in Gonja HiFi, one of Thailand’s prominent sound system crews. With his dynamic and innovative track choices, he guarantees to keep you on the dance floor.

Rasrei

Reinaldo Cansino, known professionally as Rasrei or simply Rei, is a Macau-born DJ who has found in electronic music a way to transform harsh realities into something beautiful – music as a way of praising life and escaping from the mundaneness of daily routines. This search led him to immerse himself in reggae and dub, styles he recognises as fundamental matrices of contemporary electronic music, responsible for the emergence of genres such as dubstep and all in between

Musically, Rasrei has developed a style deeply rooted in sound system culture and dub, with an approach that favours connecting with the audience.

Miroll (LDC)

Mirol is a DJ, producer, and selecta holding down the dub reggae scene in Malaysia. As
one half of Langkawi Dub Club (LDC) alongside MC King I, he is the sonic mastermind
behind the island’s underground sound system culture.

Behind the decks, Mirol serves up a heavy blend of roots reggae, deep dub, and digital
steppas to keep the dancefloor moving. When he isn’t producing tracks for LDC—like
their hard-hitting debut single “Superior Race”

no fluff, just pure energy. we are turning up to sing every single word to "Dengan Ikhlas" by Milo Dinosaur and "It Goes In Circles" by fictions.

Pointing fingers, screaming lyrics, having a great night, and still making it to Sunday breakfast early the next morning. Thats the whole plan. Geddit?

9PM - late

For our last DJ session of this month, it will be a full on wax affair with @ronhameed & @vinylminds_japanfinds this Saturday night. If you’re one of those that decided to remain in Klang Valley this weekend, come through for some music, drinks, and conversations. We promise we won’t be yapping about which music format is superior. by @studio.fono

🐠 Submerge Night is here! 🛟

Join two post-ironic indie kids and their friends to jam out on the 4th of September. We'll be playing indie and indie related tunes and jamming with samplers and random instruments.

🌟 Come as the most stereotypically dressed indie kid and stand a chance to win a roll of Kodak Gold 200. 🎞️

👔 Wear your all black outfits with your Anaabu vest, FutureMade cargo pants, Carhatt bucket hat, GoodPairSocks socks and Keen shoes or Dr. Martens.

🪡 Come swagged out with handpoked tattoos and septum piercing.

📷 Bring: your overpriced P&S film camera and Kodak charmera, "vintage" Casio watch and record the whole thing on your blurry CCD with a busted mic and never transfer it off the SD card.

*DM @studio.fono for tickets*

What happens when Dub Tings, Modulus, and Ronggeng Sound System get together? You get a seriously heavy night what’s up. Joining in the fun is no stranger to the regional bass scene and Revision Music bossman, Helios XL.

From dubby techno and ghettotech to juke and breaks, the night will be one for the bass heads and underground music purveyors.

Link in bio for limited presale (RM30) or show up at the door early (RM40) for a chance to let loose on the dancefloor.

Proud to present the third edition of Overtones, our music series that celebrates the intersection of unconventional songwriting and music technology.

For this upcoming show at @studio.fono, we will be hosting experimental rapper @iiarahere, performing alongside drummer @shwin.here. If you’re into Shabazz Palaces, Homeboy Sandman, and shit like that, you might want to give their live show a chance.

Also, on the lineup, we have VIONA, a solo electronic project by @takaharasuiko of The Venopian Solitude. She said she’ll be performing her Opah Steampunk set. Wtf is that you asking us? Well, come on over and find out.

Limited space. DM us to secure your spot or try your luck at the door.

When @muizzzzium showed us the flyer @thezhongshanbuilding After Hours (designed by the valented @valenlim820 ), we immediately thought of the Second Summer of Love movement in the late 80s. Of course, the team at @studio.fono came up with their own flyer to pay homage to the ravers that paved the way for us decades later.

I was given the task to soundtrack the night and I decided to be era-specific as much as I could: acid house, deep house (primarily from Chicago & Detroit), Brit-pop psychedelia alt tunes, and whatever was popping in the UK at that time (1988-1998). Played one of my best sets, with tunes decided on the spot based on the energy on the dance floor.

Welcome to the DANGDUT edition of Kongsi Muzik! 🕺

Dangdut has ceased to be just one describable thing. It's part of a rich landscape of genres stretching over Indonesia, and the rest of Southeast Aska. Hyperkoplo, hip-dut, club Dangdut; you name it, it's probably there somewhere. And more than just sound, Dangdut is also a reflection of how societal norms have evolved over the past two to three decades, especially when it comes to sensuality, morality and even politics!

Is Dangdut's infusion into other genres a response to the increasing popularity of dancehall and reggaeton in every producers pocket? Is it a genre that revived or a genre that never died?

Here's the chance to meet otherr Dangdut fans share their "nolej" about this unmistakably Nusantara sound - with Asyik by legendary Malaysian Dangdut icon, Amelina as the starting point.
