Two college students from Austin, Texas. The market, distilled. Real notes, real trades. All for free on Substack.
POSTS STORIES REELS
The week doesn’t preview anything. It settles three things: Apple’s guide, the midterms, the jobs report. After the October we just had, the answers matter. The slides have the breakdown. Substack has the proof. by @stylersecurities
The world voted 130 to 17 on Cuba, then Washington expelled a Cuban diplomat. Brazil fell five straight sessions. Israel has no majority. One Ukrainian ceasefire actually held. Tuesday decides the rest. The full breakdown is in the slides. More on Substack. by @stylersecurities
Alphabet lost about $482 billion in a day. Amazon posted a record $28.1 billion operating quarter and fell anyway. Microsoft beat, Oracle popped, Intel fell 29%, the Fed held, and Friday sold the whole tape. We loaded up anyway. That was the week. The full breakdown is in the slides. More on Substack. by @stylersecurities
Microsoft’s $450 billion day is the best ‘I told you so’ we’ve ever had. We bought the $390s and our subscribers got the signal. One of our subscribers bought July 13 and sold July 29. The next day, Microsoft jumped 15.5% and added about $450 billion in a single session. We exited at +27%. From the signal to the October high, it ran 41%. It hasn’t returned back. Microsoft reported again today: Azure grew 48%, revenue and EPS both beat. If you have been with us, or contacted us, you would be good. Sometimes you know more than the market. September: the Fed hiked 25 basis points, 12–0, and everybody knew it. We bought Yes at 87¢ and collected $1,139 on $1,000. Free money — the market was right and we just showed up. Today is the opposite. The market gives Paxton 37¢ in Texas. We own 3,335 Yes at 37.43¢. Payout if he wins: $3,335. Risk if he loses: $1,248. Dems haven’t won statewide in a while, Talarico’s marketing isn’t organic, Republicans vote last minute, and early voting already shows a surge. Michigan too — Abdul’s odds are horribly priced, and we expect him to lose. The tech is simple: a contract pays $1 if it happens, $0 if it doesn’t. The price is the probability. Yes, gambling is real, and people use these markets for the wrong reasons. We don’t hide that. The beauty is the tool: a market that lets you put money where your knowledge is. by @stylersecurities
Great partnerships. Now show us the cash. Oracle’s AI World brought seven of them: Vera Rubin at multi-gigawatt scale, Google TPUs to OCI in 2027, Oracle apps inside ChatGPT, Snowflake native on OCI, Cerebras inference, SambaNova chips, and a multiyear Xeon expansion. We own the name — 1,070 shares, about $139,000, down on it and bigger anyway. But partnerships are not revenue. None of these are newly disclosed customer revenue contracts. The test is execution: deploy the capacity, attract paying workloads, convert a $664 billion backlog into recognized revenue, and generate cash after the spending. Wednesday at 10:55 AM, Investor Day grades it. All research is free and in the bio. by @stylersecurities
We have been eyeing Google. Berkshire signed it first: Buffett started the stake in 2025, Abel grew it past $36 billion. Cloud grew 82% last quarter with a $514 billion backlog. YouTube alone could be a trillion-dollar empire. Chrome is how Google fights the frontier labs. Recent buyers — 267 shares across the firm. Comfortable having Google in the portfolio, and not scared to sell into a better opportunity. Alphabet reports Wednesday after the bell, and that’s when it gets priced. by @stylersecurities
The financing sorted the builders from the announcers this weekend, and this week prices it. SpaceX closed $40B of GPU debt while the neoclouds got shut out of the debt markets. Oracle’s Investor Day has to turn a $664B backlog into cash. The Fed holds Wednesday and December is the trade. Microsoft, Alphabet, and Amazon report into the shakeout they financed. Energized power, not announced gigawatts. That’s the week. by @stylersecurities
Cuba is leverage. Ukraine is a winter trade. Paris is arithmetic. And all three price off an American election. Havana’s buses went from 419 a day to 11, and Washington is lobbying the world ahead of the October 28 vote. Russia booked peace talks for November and fired 21 ballistic missiles the same week. Moody’s spared France the downgrade everyone priced — and 70,000 police still deployed Saturday while the Louvre sat shut. The war, the blockade, and the spread all wait on November 3. The full loop is on the Substack. by @stylersecurities
The tape rotated this week, and the receipts are in the slides. Meta printed record revenue and went cash-flow negative — down 9.4 percent on the week. JPMorgan doubled its SpaceX target to $500 in the middle of the selloff. Morgan Stanley named Amazon a Top Pick at $350 a week before it prints. The builders are fine. The financing is the trade. And oil at $117 is the tax on everything else. The full recap is on the Substack. Geopolitic post up tomorrow. by @stylersecurities
Market consensus saw a gaming chip company. We saw the toll booth on intelligence. The print: $96.2 billion in one quarter, up 106% year over year. Data center alone was $89 billion. Guidance for this quarter is $108 billion, assuming zero China revenue. In October, Nvidia doubled its Blackwell and Vera Rubin visibility to $1 trillion through 2027. Chips that stay useful for seven to eight years, not four. Germany signed on in Berlin, four days after we wrote Germany x Nvidia. The tension is real. Cash flow fell while profit rose, and the customers are building their own chips. Anthropic is financing $60 billion of Google TPUs. But custom silicon stays inside four companies. Everyone else pays the toll. We own 300 shares of Nvidia. The position is up 78%. All research is free at the link! by @stylersecurities
Oscar is our healthcare conviction. Market consensus sees a health insurer growing into a shrinking market. We see the software layer American healthcare will run on. Membership is up 46% to 2.96 million while the broader ACA market contracted 12%. Second-quarter revenue rose 70% to $4.9 billion, the medical loss ratio fell from 91% to 79%, and management raised full-year operating earnings guidance to $600–800 million. The honest tension: guidance implies a second-half operating loss as medical costs normalize, and the model lives on ACA policy. We know. We have made $30,000 on this name before. The position was up 115%, and we bought more at this level anyway. The adds pulled the blended gain back to 77%. We own 1,235 shares. We believe in the story. We believe in the future of healthcare. The full research is free at the link in bio and Oscar will get its entire article when calmer waves come. by @stylersecurities
