Being sick while on holiday sucks but at least we are in a country with national healthcare! Walked next door to visit the doctor (free) was seen immediately and given a prescription (also free). on the road to recovery after 6 days of feeling like shit! At least the views are nice here in Scotland. hoping to get back on track after one more day of rest. by @sugar_farm

On to the next chapter for @49west_winebar_gallery Thank you to Brian and @scallyhan for providing such a vibrant space for all of us to gather all these years. Last night was such a joyful time seeing all the regulars and friends, and realizing how integral this place has been to me…its where: -Ruben and I connected -I taught my first photo classes in the back room(pre ArtFarm) -had my first solo show in Annapolis -watched so many great musicians -spent many late nights in conversation with friends -sat on my first board meeting in the back room -waited tables to make ends meet while starting my own business -worked on my business plan, wrote grants, and took meetings over tea and coffee -ate curry chicken salad way too often when ArtFarm 2.0 was located next door -overhead the best conversations from politicians to artists ….the list goes on… After meeting the new owners last night I know this magical place is in good hands and I hope to continue to make many memories here for years to come. Congratulations Brian and Sarah! 💗💗💗 by @sugar_farm

DC: you are amazing. I’ve been avoiding DC since this administration has tarnished it, but last night I fell back in love with it and the diversity and spirit of the people. Scored tickets to see @redbaraat at the @ngadc Sculpture Garden and had the best time with @darinmichelle, @ag_vigilante and Julien. Perfect weather, amazing music that got me dancing, and wonderful people watching - DC folks know how to dress! Thankful for moments like this to cut through all the bullshit happening right now. 💗🎵🐇 taken in National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden by @sugar_farm
