🎬 A VERY strange package landed at my door!

Huge thanks to Superstate and Madman Films for this mysterious delivery, packed with plenty of yummy Korean food… and one very mysterious black box. 🇰🇷📦

Inside? A stunning cap and a double pass inviting me to check out Na Hong-jin’s upcoming film, Hope. 👀🎟️

Hope arrives in Australian cinemas September 10, and New Zealand cinemas from September 17!

Got a little taste of HOPE ahead of its Australian release 👀

Huge thanks to @madmanfilms and the team at @superstate.agency for sending over this very cool care package! complete with Honey Butter Chips, 2x Spicy Buldak ramen, banana milk and a HOPE hat.

Side note: the banana milk is absolutely spectacular. I now understand the hype.

But more importantly, I’ve been excited for HOPE for a while now. Everything I’ve seen from the trailers and behind-the-scenes footage makes this look like an absolute epic with creepy creatures, massive action sequences and the kind of movie that just looks built for the biggest screen possible.

Coming from Na Hong-jin, director of The Wailing and The Chaser, with a cast including Hwang Jung-min, Jung Ho-yeon, Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander… there is a LOT here to be excited about.

Very, very keen for this one.

HOPE is in Australian cinemas September 10.

It’s been a big day today at Superstate HQ, watching the OTT fun machine that is @projankfooty release today on all platforms.

We were big fans of the game and had been following its development, so when we ran into the @umbrellaentertainment and @powerbombgames teams at @paxaus and teed something up, it was basically a dream come true.

This game is hectic, it’s so damn fun, it’s hilarious (we sometimes just leave it on in the background to listen to @brodenkellyismyname commentate), it’s nostalgic and it’s absolutely great with mates.

It’s out today and FLYING on all platforms, go buy it, and let’s play.

We’re teaming up with @powerbombgames & @umbrellaentertainment to bring you the... dare we say it... THE BEST footy game this country will ever see: @projankfooty!

This unhinged and completely over-the-top arcade sports game meets deck builder is way too much fun to play (the soon to be released demo has been heavily tested on Friday nights at Superstate HQ). It’s one that we have been following closely, so we’re very excited to be working on it.

On that note, if you’re a creator, journalist, streamer, reviewer, gamer, and want to collab, slide into our DMs.

🎮 Games Week is hands down our favourite week of the year. It was so good meeting all the new and familiar faces that made it to the plethora of incredible events.

Then getting to cap it all off with a weekend of @paxaus (and visiting every single PAX Rising table) is about as good as it gets.
