HOPE

The newest film from Na Hong-Jin and one of the craziest films I’ve seen this year!

The sets are BEAUTIFUL!
Ruined market streets, lush green forests, dilapidated buildings
Non stop pure-panic action
Comedy aspects of the perfect amount
Insane aliens
So much is crammed into this film and it just hits!!!

I’m late to posting this BUT… HOPE is still showing in select cinemas

Do yourself a favour… this deserves to be seen on the big screen 🤘🏼

I HOPE you like this

Thank you @superstate.agency I absolutely love this and I am sure the family will like the food. Can't wait to see how this movie goes and hopefully down the track ill get to watch it.

"It received a 7-minute standing ovation at Cannes, before heading to Comic-Con to a packed out Ballroom 20.

The film is a 10-year passion project of director Na Hong-jin (The Wailing, The Chaser). It features truly incredible cinematography by Hong Kyung-pyo (Parasite) and some of the most exciting car chases I've seen in years. Michael Abels (Get Out) is the composer.

It stars Hwang Jung-min (Veteran), Jung Ho-yeon (Squid Game), Michael Fassbender (X-Men, Steve Jobs), Oscar-winner Alicia Vikander (Ex Machina, The Danish Girl, Tomb Raider), and more." - Superstate agency.

Got a little taste of HOPE ahead of its Australian release 👀

Huge thanks to @madmanfilms and the team at @superstate.agency for sending over this very cool care package! complete with Honey Butter Chips, 2x Spicy Buldak ramen, banana milk and a HOPE hat.

Side note: the banana milk is absolutely spectacular. I now understand the hype.

But more importantly, I’ve been excited for HOPE for a while now. Everything I’ve seen from the trailers and behind-the-scenes footage makes this look like an absolute epic with creepy creatures, massive action sequences and the kind of movie that just looks built for the biggest screen possible.

Coming from Na Hong-jin, director of The Wailing and The Chaser, with a cast including Hwang Jung-min, Jung Ho-yeon, Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander… there is a LOT here to be excited about.

Very, very keen for this one.

HOPE is in Australian cinemas September 10.
