I’m proud to be the granddaughter & daughter of veterans, and beyond proud to be a veteran’s wife & proud to have one of our boys working for the National Park Service …yes, we haven’t got it all figured out yet & we have lots of room for improvement but damn I love the #USA ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 by @supersuevv

#happyfatherday @xorjg ❤️ the boys are so incredibly lucky to have you guiding them in this life.

You are the dad that tries to never say no & works to make magic moments out of the ordinary days.

You have scarified so much of yourself to be available for all the things - from giving up your own free time to engage in their hobbies, spending literally 1000s of hours at this point in the car driving up & down the East Coast to get the boys to all of their things, & never turning your brain off when it comes to managing finances in order to always be able to say yes to anything the boys need or want in their pursuit of their dreams.

There are a lot of hard days & even some heart break that goes into this journey, days we don’t think they get it…but there is one thing I know for sure, when they grow up and look back, “my dad always had my back” & “my dad knew what to do” & “my dad was always there” are words our boys will know to their core. You my love, are a great man and truly the greatest father…so great you without hesitation took on one you didn’t make & love him as your own.

They don’t know just how much work goes into being their safety net but you do it selflessly & we are all so so so incredibly lucky that you are ours. We truly got the best!

One of my #mostfavorite additions to our house - #wildflowers along our fence - started as a way to help keep water out of the yard but it’s magical all on its own - the flowers decide their own design - low maintenance & it changes and blooms all spring/summer/fall 💞🌸🌼🌺🪷💞 by @supersuevv

Being your mom is an honor & the joy of my life - even in our hardest of growing pains - I am incredibly proud of the men you are growing into - Joe - watching you spread your wings and fly the nest this year, I can’t express how happy I am watching you find a path that excites you - it’s truly the best thing in the world!

Nathan & Joey - watching you both tackling high school, and finding sports your have a passion for & watching you both strive to be better than you were yesterday - that’s what life is about & seeing you both embrace that simple life lesson makes me so excited to see what your futures hold for you.

Ashley - girl - I am so excited to see what this next chapter has in store for you! You couldn’t have picked a better major - the world’s animals are going to be so lucky to be in your care!!!

Stetson - my littlest love - I adore watching your imagination - your crazy love of Halloween & all the spooky things - with such an age a gap between you & your brothers - I’m beyond grateful to slow down & truly embrace just watching you discover the world❤️

Mom life can be hard - it’s easy to lose yourself, the things I worry about is insane, reflecting on my own life choices & wanting to shield these humans from the pains I went through, while knowing you all have to go through it - worrying I didn’t get it right, did I do too much? did I do too little? - I’ve recently been reminded, that worrying won’t stop - because that’s just what moms do 🤷🏼‍♀️

But when it’s all said and done - raising you 4 boys to be genuinely good men that are kind & good humans is my biggest goal in life & then to be able to watch you guys live your life in a way that YOU are proud of is the greatest gift & reward I could ask for.
