LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT SHOOTOUT @t1d_mari vs @datwaayyy_

Last month During judgement the heaviest competitors of the competition faced off and went straight to work.

Mari who is also a Type 1 diabetic asserted dominance initially by completing pullup bar routines a lot faster than DatWay

Once the athletes got to the dip by It was clear that both athletes were both exhausted with lactic acid buildup starting to slow them down.

Mari still with the lead touches the barbell first with the final exercise being 20 Zercher squats with 185lbs

The barbell slips from his arm and then falls off the rack giving DatWay the window he desperately needed to capitalize off of.

DatWay stays in the game but Mari being the experienced player he is understood the assignment and ended up winning in dramatic fashion by 3 reps.

Excellent performance by both.

Back with another Middleweight shootout!

It’s always good to see new athletes in the sport, going hit for hit

@tezd__morgan and @laidbacksuave brought it down to the wire, on each others heels. Until Jordan was able to capture a small lead on the bodyweight pulls, kept composure and sealed the win

Two Titans Clash again for their Rematch

After the first bout between these two athletes, the lot had no idea how this one would go

It was as expected, a HIT. @jt.training1 having a chip on his shoulder after coming off his initial loss to @jv3730 — he didn’t take it as a loss however. Rather a lesson

Middleweight Clash between Maryland and Virginia

These two left it all out there. @j__himington_ being new to the scene, definitely came and proved himself. @skdarulaaa was able to keep a slight lead throughout the battle, until the pull ups and squats— where Sk was able to extend that lead, and close out with the win
