🚌 LET'S RIDE! ▪️Inclusive growth means everyone living in Northwest Arkansas can benefit from our region’s services and amenities. Affordable and accessible mobility options are a key part of this!
.
A great example of this that's currently available to residents, is the OZARK REGIONAL TRANSIT BUS SYSTEM [ @ozarktransit ] ! As #Ambussadors in our community, we aim to create NWAGG activities and public events at locations along active transit routes that allow for on-demand transit and paratransit services during event hours. In doing so, we can support and connect a wider community to our free programming and opportunities.
.
While the bus system and other transportation options are an incredible resource, NWA GIRL GANG are always advocates for progress. We envision a future region that includes ADA-accessible sidewalks, micromobility options, sheltered bus stops, and on-demand transportation services during evenings and weekends. Increasing awareness and usage of our current resources is an important step towards this vision! ✨
.
We encourage you to learn more about the transportation options in our region by trying them out yourself! Our NWAGG team had an incredible experience riding from Downtown Springdale to the mall in Fayetteville and back, making lots of new friends along the way. Whether it's a night out with your closest friends or a stress-free commute to your next music concert, ORT can be a part of your planning process.
