Saturday miles hit different when you share them.

Thank you to everyone who came out this morning and put in the work together.

Every pace and every goal was represented, and that’s exactly what Long Run Saturdays are about.

Tomorrow morning, we run long.

Fall marathon season is here and preparation for winter starts now. Saturday is where the weekly work turns into real miles, and there’s no better way to log them than alongside people chasing the same kind of goal.

Training for a half? A full? Looking for good company on a weekend run? There’s a spot for you.

Long Run Saturdays kick off at 6 AM from Fleet Feet Mockingbird. Every pace is welcome. We’ll have water and hydration ready plus restroom access before takeoff.

Lay out your gear tonight and set that alarm.

Follow along with everything we have going on each week by joining us on Strava through the link in our bio.

See you tomorrow. 🏃

There are roads we travel and time we take, pour into and cultivate, but no matter how much we plan or hope or pray, we can never demand our outcomes, we can only respond to what happens. Our identities are more carved and scraped than expertly crafted. We cannot demand of life. We cannot build our needs a shrine. As you say, no gods just grit. And mi amor, there is dirt in our teeth and cramps in our legs and spit on our hands and more miles under our feet than either of us will ever count and that’s all that matters. Not how we got here or finish lines or the perfect time that will let us loose in matter and exhales. It’s the choice we made to choose this day, this next step, you.

You’ve done the desert proud, you’ve done Chicago proud, you do us all proud (you did your literal fucking best, peep that PR) and I couldn’t be more honored in the thought that there is more grit to grind with you, one mile, step, breath at a time.

Every week, runners across our training programs are putting in the work.

Some are building toward their first 5K. Others are chasing a half or getting ready for 26.2. Wednesday mornings at Germany Park are one piece of that and this group showed up ready to get after it.

Fall race season is here and preparation for winter starts now. Every rep stacks up. Keep showing up for yourself and for the people training next to you.

We’re out here every Wednesday at 6 AM. Come a few minutes early to warm up so you’re ready when the first rep starts.

See you on the track. ⏱️

We’re proud to donate HydraPouches to Performance Redefined powered by Fleet Feet DFW!

Every week, the crew meets at Fleet Feet Mockingbird at 6:00am for their Saturday long run, while most of the city is still asleep. We wanted to give them an easier way to say hydrated for those miles!

HydraPouch is a reusable 6 oz.silicone pouch that:
💧 Fills quickly at aid stations
💧 Clips right onto your waistband
💧 Lets you tilt and sip, no choking, no crushed paper cups

Proud to be Dallas-based company supporting our local running community. Thank you to @fleetfeetdfw @2run4 for everything you do for DFW runners!

Stay hydrated out there, Performance Redefined 🙌🏼

Sunrise. Track. Support. That’s how we start a Wednesday.

Waking up early to put in the work before the day gets going is a feeling you can’t fake. Fall marathon season is here and preparation for winter starts now. This morning was one piece of a bigger week.

Across our training programs, runners of every level are putting in work all week long. Some are building toward their first 5K. Others are chasing a 10K PR, a half or a full. Wednesday track is one of the ways we show up for all of it.

We’re out here every Wednesday at 6 AM at Germany Park. Come a few minutes early to warm up so you’re ready when the first rep starts.

Your goal race starts with one early morning. Come run the next one with us.

See you on the track.

@2run4 packing list for Chicago, whenever you’re ready to start (ideally not morning of 😬)
🏃🏻
4 Chicagos in and the list has changed but includes many staples/usuals (I promise this will all fit in the bag):

📌A throwaway layer you won’t miss (Goodwill works)

📌shoes and fuel you’ve already tested, and a gear check bag that does more than hold a jacket

📌Dry clothes, loose pants, shower wipes, and recovery sandals mean you can go straight to food and celebrating (let the busy roads and transit wind down a bit)

Save this and work through it before you fly out. Slide 5 is the piece most people skip:

1️⃣ set your A/B/C goals to manage expectations

2️⃣then pick where you’ll check them: 10K, halfway, mile 20 (Mile 20 is a bad place to start doing math)

What’s always in your bag that isn’t on this list? Drop it below 👇

I rather have a good time than a good time.

Sometimes it’s in the middle of nowhere that you find yourself.

Miles don’t lie.

Saying less is the only way to meet who’s left.

Coming soon.

Signed up for a full marathon happening a month from now… ( shout out @justice.run )

Got to join Fleet Feet’s social run on Saturday morning and ripped 12 miles. The best vibes and even right into my good friend @__jbdawn08 . Shout out @2run4 for putting me on a sick route, and leading the way.

For some time I started to dislike running and it felt like a burden but now I’m starting to enjoy it again. Trying to find a joy in the simple things.
