🐺 THE BAD WOLVES ARE BACK… WITH A VENGEANCE!

This one is really special to me. I’ve been a huge fan of 40 BELOW SUMMER since I was a teenager growing up in the New York hardcore and metal scene. I actually cut my teeth opening shows for these guys early in my career, so getting to share the stage with these Tri-State nu-metal legends all these years later is a full-circle moment and a real honor.

My brother Chris Cain and I have reunited with our new band WITH A VENGEANCE, and we’ll be co-headlining with 40 BELOW SUMMER for one night only at the legendary WEBSTER THEATER!

We’ll be performing songs from our multiplatinum BAD WOLVES albums DISOBEY and N.A.T.I.O.N., along with new music from our debut record BORN TO SURVIVE!

📍 HARTFORD, CT

Day 3 of my all-time favorite albums!

Invitation To The Dance by @40belowsummer

This album has been on repeat for over 20 years and was one of the first ones to get me into much heavier music. I think I accidentally discovered them on Pandora radio, but I'm glad I did. They've never fit the nu metal mold that they got lumped into, and I've always viewed them has more of a hardcore band with some rap metal fusion. Max Illidge has some of the sickest vocals in the game. Nobody but him or Mike Patton can create such a tremolo effect with their microphones. Joey D'Amico guitar work is flawless, and you can just hear the influential Vision of Disorder or Candiria sound throughout the album.
Which, by the way, WRECKS!!! Every song is a bop.
It's hard to choose just 1 favorite song, but Rope, Falling Down, Smile Electric, and Jonesin' will always be the ones that take me to spin kick city.
For an album that was released in 2001 with the likes of Slipknot and Mudvayne, I'd say that this album not only stands out more but also stands the tests of time more superiorily as well.
