Coach Bennett! Last night’s event in Houston was everything. 🥹 From the Q&A to the book signing, every moment was worth it. Getting those few minutes to personally connect with you and hear your thoughts made the night even more special, especially knowing those 3–5 minutes you spent with each of us were so personal and intentional.

You put so many things into perspective about running—your journey, your coaching, consistency, and the simple encouragement that can mean so much to someone.

Thank you, @haydenricca , for sharing such kind words with @coachbennett about me. What Coach told me afterward truly made my heart so happy. ❤️

He said something that really stayed with me:

“You’re changing lives.”

And then he reminded me that as a run club leader, simply encouraging people to run and get moving can have such a meaningful impact. He even said that by encouraging people to run, “you’re keeping people alive.”

That hit my heart in a completely different way. 🥹❤️ Sometimes we don’t realize how much a simple invitation to show up, take a few miles, or keep going can mean to someone. I’m so grateful that I get to create that space for others through running.

Hayden, you and the rest of the team rocked this event! Everything was so thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed. Thank you for creating such a meaningful experience for all of us. ❤️And to my girl @itsleila_duh you absolutely ROCKED the Q&A! You’re a natural. 🥹 Listening to you share your journey was so inspiring. Keep shining, beautiful soul! ✨

To everyone out there who is just starting their running journey, or has been running for years, remember what Coach told me:

“Run with joy!” ❤️

And if you haven’t already, I highly encourage you to read @coachbennettsbook , This Is About Running. This Is Not About Running. 📖 As Coach B said:

“Reading will make you a better runner, and being a runner will make you a better reader.”

Keep showing up. Keep moving. Keep encouraging each other. Keep going.

Long run Saturday with the LTG kiddos! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

As we get closer to the start of the cross country season, everyone had a different assignment based on where they are in their training:
• 4 miles + strides
• 7 miles + strides
• 8 miles (5 easy + 3 at threshold)
• 10 miles
• Intervals for one athlete

Great effort all around and a great way to kick off August 2026. Proud of the work these athletes continue to put in. The season is almost here! 💪

Every great athlete has a “first.”

This was our athlete’s first USATF National Championship, the 8K Road Championships and we made the journey from Houston, TX, to Kingsport, TN to prepare him for the longer distances he’ll race as an incoming college freshman.

The trip was about much more than racing. We road-tripped through Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee, shared a home-cooked meal with family in Knoxville, explored a new city, enjoyed a shakeout run and dinner with @brookeelisenelson, attended the elite athlete dinner, and learned what it means to compete on a national stage.
Race day was the perfect ending. He broke 26 minutes, ran 25:53, and won his age group. 🥇

At The Lutenants Training Group, we’re not just developing faster runners, we’re building confident athletes through experiences, education, and opportunities they’ll remember for a lifetime.

This is only the beginning. 🏃‍♂️💙
