Our VIP invites to our fashion show on October 15th are officially out! We loved seeing all our supporters and friends on our delivery run. Running around the city and seeing people on the way was such a thrill and reminds me of why I love this city. Show is almost here and we are so excited to host such a big night in Detroit. #hausofraya #michiganfashionweek #detroitfashionshow #fashionshow #detroitbrand

Meet Cheyenne Lee, one of the featured gallery artists of Evening of Arts 5 🎨 Working predominantly with salvaged and repurposed media, her practice reflects on how the things we use can embody both personal and collective histories. She intentionally sources from the Detroit ecosystem, gathering materials from Arts & Scraps, thrift stores, discarded objects, and other artists. This approach is both conceptual and practical, rooted in environmental consciousness, financial accessibility, and a deliberate departure from material excess. By working only with what is available, Lee allows limitation to inform composition and meaning. She integrates items that retain traces of prior use while maintaining a refined, deliberate craft. Experience Cheyenne’s work at Hunt Street Station on September 19 from 5–10 PM as part of Detroit Month of Design. RSVP through the link in our bio.

💦 Community Pool at DIVE 💦 At DIVE Studios, we have been dreaming and making a collective space. In our debut exhibition for Detroit Month of Design, eleven of our studio members have pooled their work, bringing together a variety of backgrounds, processes, visions, and media. In tandem with the exhibition, artists/designers will be having open studios. DIVE is an artist-run collective studios space located in historic Corktown. This collective viewing space reflects how we work together, share resources, support each other, and expand our practices in collaboration with other groups, art communities, and networks from Detroit and beyond. Address: 1927 Rosa Parks Blvd, Detroit, MI 48216 Date: September 19th, 2026 Time: 2:00 PM-7:00 PM Participating artists: Martyna Alexander Nathan Byrne Cydney Camp Allana Clarke Joseph Jagos Robert Kub Cheyenne Lee Marceline Mason Andy Maticorena Kajie Sam Seurynck Griffith Daniel Ribar Kiana Thayer Emilia Yang @designcoredet #detroitmonthofdesign #galleryopening #openstudios #artistsoninstagram A graphic with the words 'Community Pool' and the Detroit Month of Design logo in black. I led workshops today at the Family Arts Fest at South Shore Arts. I am so so proud of the work created that was inspired by CCS alum Cheyenne Lee. I watched children and adults design beautiful little masterpieces; write positive intentions; and make special wishes. Thank you to everyone who made this day possible. My heart is full.
