Not every loss comes with a funeral and not every grieving woman gets the space to grieve.

Sometimes, grief looks like a relationship that ended, a business that didn’t work out, a dream you had to let go of, or a version of your life that no longer exists.

And when you’re a leader, the world doesn’t always stop long enough for you to process any of it.

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Julian H. Brown III.August 15th will always carry a new meaning for us all.
Julian, the hearts you touched are proof that you lived a life of service, love, kindness, and compassion. Nothing could have prepared us for what was coming, but through your life and your legacy, we are learning to stand together with greater knowledge, understanding, and compassion for one another.

When we talk about suicide prevention and awareness, it’s more than just “checking on someone.” It’s about creating spaces where people feel safe enough to be honest, listening without judgment, recognizing when someone may be struggling, knowing how to connect them with support, and continuing to show up even after the conversation ends.

It is my sole mission in life to be a resource, a safe place, and an advocate for those who may feel unseen, unheard, or alone. If Julian’s life has taught us anything, it is that our presence, our words, and our willingness to care can make a difference.

Julian, your life mattered. Your love mattered. Your legacy matters. And the impact you made will continue through all of us who carry your memory forward.

What began as a dream has become my beacon of hope a reminder that God will breathe life into every vision He has ordained. The perseverance it took to become a self-published author has strengthened my faith, refined my character, and reminded me to remain steadfast. As I continue working toward earning my Doctorate and my final licensing exam to become an LCSW-C my heart is at ease.

For the first time in a long time, I’m allowing myself to feel proud not from a place of pride, but from a place of gratitude. I’m proud of the woman I’ve become, of the promises I refused to abandon, and of the resilience God cultivated in me through every challenge. I no longer feel guilty for celebrating the fruit of my obedience.

My heart is filled with gratitude as these long-awaited milestones draw near. Every sacrifice, every late night, every setback, and every victory has been part of God’s divine preparation. This season is more than the completion of goals; it is the foundation He is laying for the future of my children, my future clients, and every life that will be touched through the work He has called me to do.

God’s promises never return void, and I stand in awe of what faith, obedience, and perseverance can produce. The dream is unfolding, and all glory belongs to Him!✨

MOTHER’S DAY 💕☕️

My mom loves tea, so what better way to spend the day at @seventeahouse777 ! We had such an amazing experience from the moment we walked in.

One of my favorite parts was learning about the history and cultural significance behind the different teas. Through their 5-course tasting journey, we were able to explore different tea, aromas, and intensities of flavor with every sip.

They also have a matcha tasting, can’t wait to go back! Thank you @seventeahouse777 💕☕️
