My mini morning concert before 8 AM office scaries set in.
Do you jam out in the morning before work? And would you have with the black jacket or the white collared shirt 👀

Chicago has a bioengineering scene, and I think we need to talk about it more. 🧬🏙️

Spent the day at the Chicago Bioengineering Conference hosted by @biohub getting a closer look at the research happening right here in the city: from bioelectronics and biomaterials to nanomedicine and beyond.

As someone who works in medtech/biotech and is now pursuing my master’s in biomedical engineering, I loved getting to step outside of my day-to-day, learn from researchers across different areas of the field, and explore more of Chicago’s research community.

Boston and the Bay Area may get a lot of the biotech buzz, but Chicago? We’re here too. 👀

Missed Thrifting Girlies this past Sunday? Or maybe digging through the racks just isn’t your thing and you’re more of a retail therapy kinda girl. I got you too.

Storefront Girlies is up next.

Think sip, shop & community — a guided shopping experience where we’ll hit some of our favorite storefronts, shop intentionally, get real-time styling help, and meet other Chicago girlies along the way.

Whether you love a hidden thrift find or prefer it fresh off the rack, good style is about knowing what to buy, what works for you, and how to wear it.

Come sip, shop, get styled, and make some new connections while building a wardrobe you’re actually excited to wear.

Storefront Girlies: A Guided Shopping Experience
Limited spots available. Tickets in bio. 🛍️🥂

Tired of being the worst dressed in the office? 👀

If you were told “life isn’t a fashion show,” but you go to work every day… sounds like a fashion show to me.

Showing up to work doesn’t have to be boring, or costly. This entire office fit is thrifted, and you’d never know unless I told you.

The key isn’t spending more. It’s knowing what to look for, what’s worth buying, and how to make pieces work for your wardrobe.

And in this economy?! We’re looking good without breaking the bank. Shopping secondhand also keeps clothing in circulation longer, so yes, you can shop more sustainably, ball on a budget AND still look tea. ☕️♻️

Fall workwear doesn’t mean you have to immediately put away your lighter colors. This look works for the season because I paired cream neutrals with richer accessories and more structured, covered silhouettes, an easy way to transition your wardrobe without buying an entirely new one.

Wanna learn how I find the good stuff? Come thrift with me at Thrifting Girlies by BMadeYouLook this Sunday 9/27 🛍️

3 thrift stores. Guided styling. Fall wardrobe finds.

🎟️ $7 | Limited spots | Tickets in my bio & on @posh.vip 🤎

I see it, I like it, I want it… I thrift it. 🛍️

Because looking good does NOT have to mean spending a fortune.

In this economy?! We’re building wardrobes that give what they need to give without breaking the bank. And the best part? Shopping secondhand gives great pieces another life and keeps more clothing in circulation instead of constantly buying new.

You can be a fashionista, shop more sustainably, ball on a budget AND still look TEA. ☕️

That’s exactly what Thrifting Girlies is about. We’re hitting 3 thrift stores together while I help you shop intentionally, spot the gems, and find pieces that actually deserve a place in your wardrobe.

LET’S GO SHOPPING? 🛍️🍂

Shopping is more fun with the girlies — but shopping with a plan? Even better.

This fall, B Made You Look is bringing you two curated shopping experiences designed to help you shop intentionally, discover new pieces, and build a wardrobe you actually love — without doing it alone.

♻️ THRIFTING GIRLIES

Oct. 4 | 11AM–3PM
Water Tower + Michigan Ave.

Your $7 ticket includes an exclusive Fall Style Guide, shopping challenges + prizes, stylist access throughout the day, mini shooters (21+ 🥃), and most importantly — a community of women to shop, style, sip & connect with.

Come alone. Bring a friend. Either way, you’re leaving with new connections, a little more confidence in your personal style, and probably a shopping bag or two. 🤭

Casual Friday… but make it feminine. 💙

One thing I’ve learned is that great style usually comes down to the details.

This outfit works because every piece has a purpose. The crisp @express striped button-down brings structure, while the acid-wash denim skirt softens the look and keeps it appropriate for a more relaxed office.

Instead of a basic denim skirt, the lace-up detailing adds texture and visual interest without overwhelming the outfit.

Then there’s the @calvinklein red bag. It’s the pop of color that keeps everything from feeling too expected. If every piece had been neutral, the outfit would’ve felt flat.

When you’re getting dressed, don’t just ask, “Do these pieces match?” Ask yourself:
• Do the textures complement each other?
• Is there enough contrast?
• Is there one piece that draws the eye?
• Does this outfit feel intentional?

That’s the difference between wearing clothes and creating an outfit.

Happy Casual Friday. 💼✨
