THIS GENERATION IS DIFFERENT.

THEY ARE CURIOUS.
THEY ARE INQUISITIVE.
THEY AREN’T AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS.

IMAGINE A SIX-YEAR-OLD ASKING ME ABOUT SPEAKING IN TONGUES.

I THOUGHT ABOUT MYSELF AT SIXTEEN. WHAT DID I EVEN KNOW ABOUT SPEAKING IN TONGUES THEN?

THIS GENERATION WANTS TO KNOW GOD. THEY WANT TO UNDERSTAND THE “WHY” BEHIND THEIR FAITH. THEY AREN’T SATISFIED WITH SURFACE-LEVEL ANSWERS.

BUT UNFORTUNATELY, THERE ARE FEWER PEOPLE WILLING TO FEED THEM THE TRUTH.

WHEN THEY ASK QUESTIONS, WE OFTEN DISMISS THEM.
“YOU’RE TOO YOUNG.”
“YOU’LL UNDERSTAND WHEN YOU’RE OLDER.”
OR WORSE, WE GIVE THEM ANSWERS THAT AREN’T ROOTED IN TRUTH.

YET THESE ARE THE YEARS WHEN THEIR HEARTS, MINDS, AND CONVICTIONS ARE BEING FORMED.

IF WE DON’T DISCIPLE THEIR CURIOSITY, THE WORLD WILL.

LET’S STOP SILENCING THEIR QUESTIONS.
LET’S START STEWARDING THEM.

THE NEXT GENERATION DOESN’T JUST NEED INFORMATION.
THEY NEED TRUTH.
THEY NEED DISCIPLESHIP.
THEY NEED JESUS.

I LOVE YOUNG PEOPLE, I LOVE SPEAKING TO THEM AND ANSWERING ALL THEIR QUESTIONS. WE HAD ANOTHER OUTREACH TO SPEAK TO 300 YOUNG MINDS JSS 1 - SS3 AND I MUST SAY - START TEACHING YOUNG!

WE HAVE @rtbsm_kidhood @_rtbsm_ YOU CAN ENROLL YOUR YOUNG MINDS INTO THE BIBLE SCHOOL.

Five years ago, it was just a simple nudge in my heart. I just felt like God was asking me to give. Not just anything, but something that would truly mean something to the people receiving it. I didn’t have everything figured out, but I said yes anyway.

That first year was honestly a mix of excitement and uncertainty. And somehow, they landed exactly where they needed to. I remember people telling me, “This is so timely,” and I’d just smile, because I knew it wasn’t me trying to be clever, I was just following what I felt led to do.

The second year, I came in with a bit more confidence. I had seen what God could do with something small, so I leaned in more. The gifts became more intentional, more personal. And again, the feedback was the same people felt seen, understood, encouraged. That was when it really started to hit me… this was more than just a kind gesture.

By the third year, people were actually looking forward to it. That part still amazes me. And the impact grew too some people shared how what they received helped them make decisions, find peace, or just feel reassured in a tough moment.

The fourth year stretched me the most. The gifts became more specific, more aligned with what people were going through, even when I didn’t fully understand it myself. But every time, it made sense to them. Every single time.

And now… this is the fifth year.

I don’t take it lightly. If anything, I’m even more aware that this isn’t just about giving gifts. It’s allowing God to use something simple to reach people on my birthday.

Each year has been better than the last, and this one feels different. I keep saying every year “this is my best gift giving” but I think again this year is my “best”😂

To those who have been part of since year 1 having you here means a lot. Truly. Five years later… and I’m still just grateful I said yes that first time.

Happy Birthday, Mummy.
Today, I celebrate a woman who carries two powerful roles in my life : my mother by birth and my mother in the Spirit.
You are God’s gift to me in more ways than words can express.

Thank you for raising me with love, patience, and strength.
Thank you for the values you planted in me, the prayers you have prayed for me, and the sacrifices you made silently just to see me grow.
You have shaped my character, guided my decisions, and held my heart with wisdom only a true mother can give.

But beyond being my biological mum, you have also been my spiritual covering.
You speak life when I’m confused.
You correct me with grace.
You intercede for me even when I don’t know.
Your walk with God has become a path for me to follow — steady, sincere, and full of light.

You are my example of faith.
My model of strength.
My first teacher.
My first intercessor.
My first encourager.
My first prophet.
My safe place on earth.

Thank you for loving me both naturally and spiritually.
Thank you for believing in what God has placed inside me and pushing me to become better.
Thank you for the counsel, the laughter, the discipline, the support, and the warmth you bring into my life.

As you step into this new year, I pray that God will surround you with peace, fill you with joy, strengthen you daily, and reward every seed you have sown into my life and into many others.
May your health flourish, your strength multiply, and your light never fade.

I honour you.
I celebrate you.
I love you deeply — as my mother, my covering, and my blessing.

Happy Birthday, My Biological and Spiritual Mum.
You are priceless.

I had the absolute honour of being made the Guest of Honour at the graduation ceremony of one of our @rtbsm outreach schools — and what a humbling privilege it was!

Sometimes I smile thinking about how young I am, yet somehow have several children already 😅 young minds who hug me like I’m their whole world. It’s such a gift I don’t take lightly. I’m truly, deeply grateful for this privilege. 🙏

One lesson God has been teaching me recently is this: do not turn your emotions into your reality. Emotions are valid. They are feelings triggered by circumstances — disappointment, fear, excitement, grief — but they are not the ultimate truth of your life. You only create a false reality when you act based on those emotions rather than God’s word.

For example, you pray about something and it doesn’t go how you hoped. The emotion that may rise is doubt. If you act on that doubt and stop trusting God, you are creating the reality of unbelief. So yes, emotions will come — but our actions should be rooted in the truth of God’s Word, not in temporary feelings.

Also, a little highlight from the day: we presented the Best Behaved Student Award to encourage other students to model positive character. These children are so full of life, and their excitement when they saw me was priceless 🥹. Always excited to see them too! 💛
