@rabbiwildes shares how Democratic politicians privately rejected accusations of genocide against Israel in conversations with him, yet refused to say so publicly. In stark contrast, CAROLINE SHINKLE has publicly and consistently stated for over three years that Israel did NOT commit a genocide. Vote moral clarity, vote @therealcarolineshinkle 🇺🇸🇮🇱

We talk a lot about cultural competency in mental health. But how much do we actually know about Jewish identity?

Because being Jewish is so much more than religion. Jewish trauma didn’t begin with the Holocaust, and antisemitism certainly didn’t end there.

And right now, some Jewish clients are walking into therapy wondering whether they can even talk openly about what they’re experiencing.

Will they be understood? Dismissed? Judged? Will their identity become a political conversation instead of being met with curiosity and compassion?

Think about that. The very place someone goes to feel safe and understood can become another place where they feel they have to explain or defend who they are.

Jewish clients deserve better.

And that’s why Jen and I created this training.

What They Didn’t Teach You in Grad School: Jewish Cultural Competency — Working with Jewish Clients

Cultural humility isn’t about knowing everything. It’s about being willing to learn, ask questions, and recognize what we might be missing.

What do you wish you had learned about Jewish identity in grad school?

This is it.
The proof of the manuscript!

Making final edits.
But the heart of it is here:

The Facts Are On Our Side
A handbook for defending the truth about Israel and the Jewish people.

It will be ready for everyone in November.

Just in time for Thanksgiving… when your uncle starts “just asking questions” and your cousin suddenly becomes an expert on the Middle East.

Bring this instead of the pie.
You’ll thank me later.

🚨 NYC PARENTS: PLEASE PAY ATTENTION
Parents and concerned taxpayers should consider filing a complaint with the NYC Conflicts of Interest Board (COIB) and asking for an investigation into Sari Rosenberg, a high school Social Studies teacher at Environmental Studies and a political/social-media influencer.
The concern is simple: Is she using an NYCPS classroom, City time, school technology, or other taxpayer-funded resources for personal political activity?
This is not about her political beliefs. The concern is whether she is using her position and NYCPS resources to promote political views to students or create political content.
Several NYC rules may be relevant, including:
• Chancellor’s Regulation C-110 — addresses political activity by DOE employees, including activity on DOE property or during DOE time.
• Chancellor’s Regulation D-130 — addresses political activity involving schools and school facilities.
• NYC COIB Rule §1-13 — restricts the use of City time and City resources for non-City purposes, including political activity.
The questions are straightforward:
Was the content created during school hours?
Was an NYCPS classroom or technology used?
Was the use authorized?
Were students exposed to or involved in the political activity?
📢 If you have reviewed the evidence and share these concerns, consider filing your own good-faith complaint with COIB and asking them to investigate.
Public school resources belong to the public. The rules should apply to everyone. : Contact the COIB Annual Disclosure Help Desk at 212-437-0739 To report

🚨‼️What happens when an NYC public school math teacher repeatedly posts hateful, discriminatory messages about Jews and Israel?
Meet Maysa Jarara, a math teacher at Park Slope Collegiate whose public posts raise serious concerns about antisemitism and the messages being spread by someone entrusted to educate our children.
Our students deserve educators who teach math, not hate.
📢 NYCPS and DOE leadership: Investigate these posts. Hold educators accountable. Stop allowing antisemitism to go unchecked in our schools.
Parents, speak up! Document what you see, demand answers, and share this post. Our children deserve safe schools free from hate. Silence is not an option. You can call 718-935-3320 to ask about filing a complaint or call the school to share your concerns with the principal- Park Slope Collegiate School

You heard about ICE. Did you hear about Nathaly Ramirez, Martin Marquez, and Jihad Pack?

Three lives taken. Three families shattered. If you’re outraged about ICE but never heard their names, ask yourself why. Question the narratives being shoved down your throat in NYC every day.
