We’ve had a few questions about LapStacker lately, and one that keeps coming up is:
💬 “Can it be used one-handed?”

While it wasn’t originally designed for one-handed use, with a bit of creative thinking, Mike shows how it’s totally possible, as long as the hand you’re using has good function. 👇

How to use LapStacker one-handed:
1️⃣ Pull: Use the soft-touch finger loop to draw the strap across your lap.
2️⃣ Connect: The magnetic, self-aligning buckles snap together when close.
3️⃣ Tighten: Pull the free end to secure your gear.
4️⃣ Release: Unclip with the same hand, keeping items low and centered helps with taller stacks.

Yay! It’s Mobility Aid Monday! Let taken about the @adaptdefy recent blog post talking about power assist devices and specifically talk about the @max_smartdrive . Hope you learned something! I owe LapStacker an apology. Turns out the problem wasn’t the product… it was me installing the damn thing wrong. 😂

Now that I’ve got it mounted properly, I love it. It keeps boxes, laundry, groceries and whatever else I’m hauling locked down on my lap while still leaving both hands free to push my chair.

Three years in a wheelchair and apparently I’m still learning new tricks.

Super duper excited to try the @adaptdefy lapstacker on my wheelchair! It’s a product designed to help hold things on your lap so you don’t have to worry about things falling off! ♿️🤩

It is quite fiddly to get on so if you have limited hand function make sure you have someone to help you!

@adaptdefy has been crucial to my independence and confidence when it comes to traveling! Up until this February, I had never taken my powerchair outside of my home city. But with the blog posts and IG reels they have made, I no longer fear traveling! @dragoncon was amazing and I can’t wait to take this chair on so many more adventures with my best friend of all time @mothvic !
