Check. Connect. Care.

This year changed me. It broke me in ways I didn’t expect and forced me to face a truth I’d been avoiding for a long time: I’ve been battling depression. Some days felt heavy enough to crush me. Other days felt like I was fighting a silent war no one could see.

But people showed up for me. Their messages, their calls, their presence—they helped me hold on. I want to honor a few of them here.

@bigwalt71 Your 96 Check initiative stayed in my heart. It reminded me that connection saves lives.

@divinesportsent @rwj____ @agentdesane @abfromkc2 @agentvjohnson @theagent_kay_ @coach_esq @cdjones43 @shaeesq_: Your support meant more than you know.

@schmidtsmk : You pulled me out of places I didn’t think I could climb out of.

@bparker : Your text reached me at the exact moment I needed someone.

@jumaane_nfl : Your words helped me get through the day.

@cmvfiftyone : You treated me like family when I felt lost.

Diverse Representation & Jaia Thomas: You connected me to people who helped save me.

Henry Ruggs III: You asked if I was okay when I wasn’t ready to say the truth. I’m proud of the work you’re doing. I’m doing mine too.

All of our clients!!! You all inspire me everyday. It is a blessing to represent you. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey 🙏🏿

There are many more people I could name. Please know your support mattered.

As we approach #96Check, I’m committing to Check, Connect, and Care—because people did that for me when I needed it most. I hope you’ll do the same. Check on your people.

Somewhere between motherhood, marriage, caregiving, advocacy, exhaustion, purpose, and trying not to lose myself in all of it…
life got really full.

The last few months have stretched me in ways I can’t fully explain yet.

But somewhere in the middle of all the chaos and beauty, I’ve realized there’s still purpose here.
Still softness.
Still growth.
Still me.

Still becoming… but I’m here. 💕

“A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.” – Jackie Robinson

In partnership with @nslmbhm, @papajackbaseball, @bhambarons, and @themoderngreenbook, Jackie Robinson Day served as a dynamic intersection of sport, culture, and community impact.

Through youth-centered programming, live performances, and a curated vendor experience, we created an environment that both celebrated legacy and inspired the next generation.
