Today was a special day.The very first PACIFIC CANCER FONO 🎗️ Grateful to have been given the opportunity to attend with our @taimepasifikacancersupport whanau.

Fakaue lahi to all our speakers and everyone who poured their hearts into today's talanoa. Thank you to our healthcare whanau in Kirikiriroa Hamilton for hosting us today.

Together sharing experiences and shaping a Pasifika led response to cancer. From talanoa to action mo tatou tagata Pasifika! 🧡

OUR FIRST FUNDRAISER 🎗️🧡

A beautiful night celebrating women’s health, raising funds & awareness with a splash of culture! 🌺 Especially for Endometrial Cancer which continues to impact our Pasefika women in Aotearoa.

From beginners to professional dancers, different cultures, ages and backgrounds, these ladies absolutely OUTDID themselves learning a whole siva in just 90 minutes! 🥹🧡 Samoan, non Samoan, Pasefika and non Pasefika every single one showed up for the cause, alongside those who donated and supported us.

SPECIAL THANKS to @christianprescott_ @elevatestudios_nz for hosting our very first SIVA4PEACHES class and our entire LIFE’S A PEACH village for making this happen. 🍑🧡

We may have lost some of our sisters to Endometrial Cancer, but we will continue to fight, raise awareness and keep the conversation LOUD.

This was our FIRST SIVA4PEACHES, but definitely not our last keep an eye out might be soon 👀

Our Peach Sister @ahlena16 is back with Part 3 of Episode 2 of our ORIs.

Chemotherapy is a whole production in itself. From losing your hair to navigating the physical and emotional toll, it’s a journey no one wishes for.

But what no one prepares you for is the possibility of recurrence the cancer coming back. 💔
