Three of ours are getting on planes! 🛫 Julia's off to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland for a masters in directing classical & contemporary text. Alex is heading to Zurich for an MA in Theatre at ZHdK. And Adam (who currently runs our marketing, so this is a genuinely strange one to be writing 🤪) is going to Barcelona for an acting degree at the Institute of the Arts. All three came through the Creative Lab programme! Julia did Muso with us as well, and they've all been collaborating with us for years now. We're going to miss them enormously, and we're extremely smug about where they're all going 😆 Go and show them what you've got 💙

IL-KUNSILL TAT-TRIQ: OVER AND OUT 🫡 U hekk nimmarkaw it-tmiem ta’ dan it-tour tant għal qalbna, fejn dorna madwar Malta biex naqdu l-attiviżmu, il-hip-hop u t-teatru flimkien. Dal-proġett kien aktar għal qalbna għax huwa wkoll l-aħħar produzzjoni ta’ Chewing (for now 👀) Grazzi ta’ dawk kollha li ssuportjawna f’dawn l-aħħar ħames snin, u għal dawk li forsi ġew introdotti għal Chewing permezz ta’ dan ix-xow. Nispera ħadtu buzz daqs kemm aħna ħadna pjaċir intellgħu din il-prestazzjoni 💙 AĦNA MIN AĦNA? IL-KUNSILL TAT-TRIQQQQQQ 🔥 - IL-KUNSILL TAT-TRIQ: OVER AND OUT 🫡 And with that, we mark the end of this tour that meant so much to us, where we travelled around Malta bringing activism, hip-hop and theatre together. This project meant even more to us because it’s also Chewing’s last production (for now 👀) Thank you to everyone who supported us over these last five years, and to those who maybe got introduced to Chewing through this show. We hope you had as much fun watching as we had putting this performance on 💙 #theatreinmalta #theatre #hiphop #showsinmalta #activism

Recommendations: Write a poem for a bee on seed paper and plant it in a nice place. Go somewhere with a big board and draw people; listen to them while they talk about the things they love and draw that too. Have tea and speak about things that are not easy, about the things you fear, and the things you long for. Sing Alanis Morissette as often as you can Lay down a blanket somewhere and paint with people you have never met. Make an alter to your old ones. Make an offering to a tree. Give thanks for those things you don’t even know will come.
