Strolling the @ciffcalgary red carpet! 🤵📸🎞️📽️

What a pleasure to premiere my short film "Renderfamily" in my hometown at the Calgary International Film Festival. So many great films, I am proud to be amongst such talented local filmmakers at the Alberta Spirit Shorts pack!

Big thanks to my sound team @brock__geiger @studiobsound @yer_pal_ez for attending the premiere, and to my love @alexkgt for the BTS shots, emotional support and media coaching lol

Fall is officially here, and September came through with a full calendar. 🍂

📚 We kicked off the month with @wordfest’s Imaginairium Preview Night, connected IRL with this year’s B.I.R.s, and brought audiences incredible conversations with @kuangrf, @colinjamesmusic, @colsonwhitehead, and @teamutonji shows.

🎭 We welcomed @bactouring’s & Juliet to stages in Calgary and Edmonton, with a whole lot of fabulous interviews along the way. 🚲 We even got to take over the spin studios with & Juliet rides at @yyccycle and @yegcycle!

🐶 Then it was off to @edmontonexpoofficial, where big names, big fandoms, and Peggy the Dog made for a very fun and busy weekend.

✨ Back in Calgary, we teamed up with @gentlelioncomms + @marrowstudio_ for our first annual client showcase, bringing our favourite people, brands, and clients together for one very Share-worthy evening.

⚡️ And we wrapped the month at @energydisruptors, soaking up big ideas and even bigger conversations from Jeremy Hansen and Catherine Hansen, Margaret Atwood, Lord David Cameron, and more.

💅 Plus, we even snuck in a few celebratory birthday pedi’s for our favourite Virgo, @alexkgt.

And that, friends, was September 💛

Ad If you know all these songs, you NEED to see "& Juliet" playing now until Sept 27 at Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.
⬇️
The music is the essential Millennial playlist of Max Martin's chart topping hits from artists such as Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, Celine Dion, Kelly Clarkson, and the list goes on. The story is truly the remixed Romeo & Juliet which DiCaprio's never was. Put together, and it's the ultimate mash-up of a fun dramedy where you'll be humming to every step and dance along the way.
⬇️
Tickets available through the Jubilee Auditorium or Broadway Across Canada websites.

Truth-teller, door-opener, fire-starter and the kind of person who makes you braver just by being in your corner, it’s a major love-fest here for the incredible Alex Kingcott, Founder & President of @ShareworthyPR.

There are people who build impressive careers, and then there are people who make the whole ecosystem around them stronger. Alex is firmly the latter—a wildly smart communicator, generous mentor and creative force whose belief in people and possibility has a way of making good things grow tall.

Marrow has been shaped in lasting ways by Alex’s genius + belief. 🧡

July understood the assignment. ☀️

We kicked off the month celebrating Calgary’s Stampede Parade Marshals, opening CLUE with @bactouring, and joining @thenpchamber for plenty of Stampede fun. We caught up with friends at @villagebrewery, cheered on our friend @lanamrogers from @gentlelioncomms , and spent the month doing what we love most: championing the people, places, and events that make our communities shine.

Now, we’re slowing things down just a little - splitting our time between Calgary Folk Music Festival, seeing shows in New York City, and enjoying friend time at the cabin. Soaking up every last bit of these glorious summer days before the fall calendar kicks into high gear.

Hope you’re finding time for a little sunshine, too. 💛

Stampede week has taken us all over town, from the CS suites to the chutes, from the @villagebrewery to the King Eddy - even the Saddledome for @thenpchamber x @calgarysurge x @calgfoundation collab (one for the books!).

In between, we’ve mixed in lots of fun at games, concerts, and CS events. Favourites:

Jessica: Tucker Wetmore
Vaughn: Foster the People
Alex: Has her sights on Alanis this weekend 😎

And we all give an honourable mention to the Rogers Sisters. 👯‍♀️

Happy final weekend out there everyone!
