How have we walked through so much together already in just a few short years? My best little bud is off to kindergarten and proud is an understatement. He is so compassionate, a deep thinker, funny, eager to help, and loves Jesus with every fiber of his being!

With where his birthday falls, this is actually his second year of kindergarten. We considered k4 last year but went straight for kinder and he did phenomenal both academically & socially after being home with me his first 5 years of life!

Apparently it’s healthy to acknowledge, feel, and process these big changes in life so my goal this year is to do just that 🤣🤍

Anyways, @noahkahanmusic, boy moms everywhere voted and you should go to jail for this song.

meet zoe. 🤍

zoe grew up in this industry. her mom was a hairstylist (who we love!) and kim and lish first met her when she was just a tiny toddler running around the salon. getting to watch her grow into the stylist she is today has been pretty special.

she’s one of those people who immediately makes you feel comfortable. she’s kind, easy to talk to, and has such a calm presence that your appointment never feels intimidating.

and behind the chair? she’s seriously talented. zoe has an eye for color that’s beyond her years and creates some of the prettiest, most effortless-looking hair.

if you’re looking for someone who’s thoughtful and incredibly talented, you’ll love sitting in zoe’s chair. we couldn’t be happier to have her as part of the carter | miller family.

Lish is the other half of CARTER | MILLER, co-founding the salon alongside Kim with the dream of creating a space where beautiful hair and genuine connection go hand in hand.

Equal parts colorist, educator, and forever chasing the next plane ticket, she’s spent over 20 years behind the chair helping people find the version of themselves that feels the most like them.

She’s been teaching for Davines North America for 18 years, bringing that same passion for education back to every guest who sits in her chair. She’s drawn to lived-in color, healthy hair, thoughtful details, and believes your appointment should leave you feeling lighter than when you walked in.

Around here, she’s usually the one dreaming up the next creative idea, always finding new ways to share what she loves with the industry.

Holly has a gift for making every appointment feel easy. She’s equally at home creating rich brunettes, bright blondes, vivid transformations, and effortless cuts…bringing the same thoughtful approach to every guest who sits in her chair.
