I decided to quit being lazy and finally do this sole swap on these ‘95 Jordan 2s. They were DS and I’ve never successfully done a sole swap for a newer sole. I had to drill down that 2022 sole a lot to make these fit. The upper is a size 9.5 and the donor soles were an 8.5 (kind of crazy I had to size down a whole size to get them close) Sneaker restoration is just a hobby of mine and these weren’t perfect but I’m learning to be OK with that 🫡🙏🏽 Also kind of cool that these complete the set of the first official 1994/1995 AJ1-3 “Retros” in my collection.

You know that I love a good steal. I saw this DS pair of ‘05 Undftd Dunks on a Japan marketplace for $230 OG all with box and all three laces. My homegirl in Japan was kind enough to proxy for me and the rest was history 😎

At the age of 12, I became obsessed with these hoodies fully covered in camouflage colors I’ve never seen before. Once I started to research them and learned more about the owner of the brand, I was locked in. Nigo’s cultural influence is undeniable. At the time, most called Bapesta’s fake AF1s, but those who knew—fell in love with the colorways because Nike played it pretty safe at the time. On my way to Europe, I noticed Nigo had an upcoming exhibit at The Design Museum in London and bought tickets for the day after its opening. He planned to release a Nike collaboration on opening day at the museum followed by a global release online the next day. Knowing the lines would be crazy, and hype for this shoe was high, I had low expectations I would be lucky enough to grab a pair. As I’m pullin’ up on the museum I see a few people standing by the museum shop, so I decided to shoot my shot. To my surprise, my size 9 was one of two sizes left. Honestly purchasing Nigo’s first official AF1 at the opening of his museum exhibit has to be top 3 souvenirs I’ve ever got in my life. Nigo-San, thank you 🙏🏽

In 2005, @common partnered with a celebrity design team Krispy Klean to release 100 custom pairs of Nike SB Dunks. The sneaker drop coincided with the release of his Grammy nominated album Be. Definitely excited to own such a rare piece of sneaker history that also taps into my love for Hip-Hop.

the absolute highlight of my year was having the honor of making my sister and brother-in-law’s wedding cake 🥹🤍 flying 2500 miles with cake supplies while also being a maid of honor, florist helper, and sister wasn’t easy but i’d do it all again in a heartbeat!! 2025 was truly a magical year and a reminder of why i do this. i’m so grateful that my cakes get to be part of so many special moments like weddings, birthdays, gender reveals, anniversaries, graduations, and everything in between 🫶🏽🫶🏽 photographer: @antonioprophoto
