September (birthday month) 😌 Better late than never given it’s nearly November, lol.

Fulfilled my life long dream of becoming Sandie, courtesy of @bxbluebx at @greaseimmersive and healed childhood wounds, after wimping out of Grease rehearsals for the secondary school-wide play as a first year student (despite learning ALL the words to ALL the songs and singing them in the shower for about 3 months in the run up). The joys of being an extravert trapped in an introverts body 😝 🥹

In 1974, Charles Atlas had only just become choreographer Merce Cunningham’s filmmaker-in-residence when he visited dancer Douglas Dunn in his Broadway loft. Atlas set his Super 8 on a tripod, trained it on the floor, and marked out its frame of reference. Dunn’s feet appear at the very edges of the frame while the centre remains empty. He ends the film—the nearly four-minute-long Floor—sprawled face down across the frame’s centre. While the film’s interest in fragmentation is an expression of Cunningham’s radical approach to dance, Floor also speaks to Atlas’ mischievous brilliance. ⁠

As an exhibition of the artist’s single‑channel works opens in London, he talks to Amie Corry (@amiecorry) about the importance of irony, his love of numbers and his ambivalence about contemporary video culture.⁠

Éditions Take5 is deeply honored to see our artist’s book Passage/s, created with Do Ho Suh and writer Louis-Philippe Dalembert, exhibited at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA), Seoul, as part of this landmark exhibition devoted to Do Ho Suh’s extraordinary practice.

For Passage/s, Do Ho Suh translated his exploration of space, memory and displacement into the intimate architecture of a book. Conceived as a paper peepshow, it unfolds into a luminous miniature theatre in which a succession of cut-out architectural drawings recede into space. Each layer evokes the threshold of one of Suh’s seminal Hub sculptures—one-to-one-scale fabric recreations of transitional spaces from his past and present homes. Corridors, passages, nooks and hallways overlap, transforming the book itself into a passage through space, memory and time.

The visual journey enters into dialogue with an original text by Louis-Philippe Dalembert, bringing another voice shaped by exile, geography and the experience of inhabiting different worlds.

It has been a true joy to work with @dohosuhstudio, @amiecorry and @nicola._chan in bringing this artist’s book to life, and deeply moving to see Passage/s now presented in this important exhibition in Seoul.

Artist residencies at SRM give artists free studio space and time to develop musical and artistic projects.
We welcomed Amie Corry as a resident at the studio. @amiecorry is a London based writer and editor whose work has appeared in publications including frieze, AnOther, Worms, the Times Literary Supplement, Art Monthly, RA Magazine, Flash Art and Gagosian Quarterly. She has written for monographs and edited books with Tate, MACK and Mary DelMonico. Amie also chairs Hospital Rooms, an arts and mental health organisation working with artists, service users and staff in psychiatric hospitals. In 2019, she co-founded Primadonna, a books and ideas festival.

During her time at the studio, Amie completed a novel exploring value across three moments in London’s art world. She also researched a new project looking at encounters between psychoanalysis and religious communities in the mid-twentieth century.

Last night we celebrated ten years of Hospital Rooms at White Cube — an extraordinary charity that has transformed the experience of thousands of people receiving inpatient mental health care through the power of contemporary art.

Listening to Katherine Lazenby's first-hand experience of how the work of Hospital Rooms transformed her recovery was one of the most powerful 10 minutes of 2026. Katherine's now a trustee of Hospital Rooms.

I'm proud to be part of 10 Year Fundraising Committee, helping support the charity's next chapter.
