Sober raving @ ADE 🕺🏼🪩 Why choose when you can have the best of both worlds???

I can’t explain how great it feels to dance your ass off two days in a row and still be able to train hard that same weekend. It’s a choice I def don’t regret. All you need is the best crew to do it all with 💥🦋❤️‍🔥🪩🕺🏼

FOLLOW YOUR PLAN, NOT YOUR MOOD.

We all love training hard, pushing limits and getting after it. But without direction, it’s easy to lose sight of what you’re actually building.

A solid plan gives you structure, consistency and something to fall back on.

Listen to your body. Adjust the volume when needed. Skip a piece if you have to. But understand the bigger picture behind your programming.

Every piece has a purpose. The goal isn’t to do everything, every day. It’s to keep following the principles that build a stronger foundation over time.

Don’t just chase workouts. Build a body that lasts.

Need help adjusting your programming or understanding the bigger picture? Drop us a DM. We’re always happy to guide you.

Build the base. Raise the ceiling.

ARE YOU REALLY BUILDING?

A new block for our Base Competitor program kicks off October 12th, with more emphasis on Olympic weightlifting, explosive strength, and power development.

Our Hybrid Build program is already in full swing, bringing in more athletes who want to build a bigger engine, get stronger, and simply look, feel, and perform better.

Meanwhile, athletes following our Foundation Protocol program are working on their individual weaknesses, building strength, and developing a more complete, well-rounded body.

Different goals, different approaches, but the same philosophy: Build the base, raise the ceiling.

Whatever your goal, we’ve got something to help you build towards it.

Questions about which program fits you best? Send us a DM. We’re always happy to help!

P.S. FOR GYM OWNERS
We also offer complete affiliate programming to help you build strong, capable members. And we don’t just hand over the programming. We stay in close contact with our affiliates and are always available when support is needed.

Start building. Westenwind Training.

12.10.26 NEW BLOCK 🧱

For our next Base Competitor block, the focus shifts towards explosive strength and weightlifting, transferring the qualities we’ve built into the next piece of your CrossFit / functional fitness puzzle.

Expect more emphasis on weightlifting strength, explosive gymnastics and power development, supported by specific accessory work to build the positions and structures behind them.

All while keeping the metcons, conditioning and mixed training that make Westenwind programming what it is, and doing the training we love.

Start joining. Start building.

Coming back from an injury isn’t just about becoming pain-free again.

Sometimes you need to actually rebuild the structure.

If a weak link has developed around the shoulder, knee, back or anywhere else, a few rehab exercises before training probably aren’t enough. It takes real volume. Real stimulus. And enough weeks of consistent structural work to build that area back into something you can trust again.

That part is hard.

Especially when you’re already back training at a high level. You’re trying to push performance, manage fatigue, recover from your normal training AND still put enough work into the thing that broke down in the first place.

That’s where the Structure Method comes in.

Find the weak links.
Give them enough stimulus to actually adapt.
Build strength through different ranges and positions.
Then slowly let that new capacity become part of your normal training again.

And don’t rush it just because you’re feeling good.

Feeling better is one step.
Building something that can handle years of training is another.

Rebuild the structure. Build the base. Then raise the ceiling. #crossfit #training #fitness #crossfiteurope #functionalfitness

Everybody has their own journey.
Their own path through fitness.

Some train five or six times a week and love the competitive side of CrossFit.

Some just want to move pain-free, feel strong and enjoy training again.

Some want to be a stronger mom.
A better partner.
A hybrid athlete.
Or simply have a body that’s ready for whatever adventure comes next.

There is no single finish line.

Whatever your journey is attack it.
Train with intent. Have good people alongside you. Enjoy the process.

But most importantly: build your base.

We see too many people treating every training session like a test. More intensity. More volume. More suffering. Until eventually the body starts pushing back.

Build a body that lets you keep doing the things you love.

Build the base. Raise the ceiling. Enjoy the life you’re building it for.

WE NEED YOU⚡

The athletes may be the ones on the competition floor, but The Amsterdam Throwdown doesn’t happen without the people behind it.

We’re looking for volunteers to join our Crew for Finals Weekend on December 5 & 6 at the Kromhouthal.

Whether you’re a judge, builder, part of the equipment crew, helping athletes and visitors, or you’re a certified first aider.. There’s a place for you.

You’ll be right in the middle of the action, working alongside the team and helping create the experience that makes AMS Throwdown what it is.

And trust us… being part of it from the other side of the floor hits different 👀

We’re still looking for more crew members.

Want to be part of it?

Sign up through the link in our bio or visit the Crew page on our website.

See you at the Kromhouthal 🇳🇱
