Neighbors! Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate 440 Gallery’s “Small Works Show” curated by Pam Wong a couple weekends ago. What a turnout! I’m truly humbled to be in such great company with artists I admire, these images are just a third of the works in the show. The exhibition is open through December 20th with a Black Friday event this Friday, November 29th and a virtual artist talk on December 8th. Exhibition details are at the link in my bio. Please come by to see an array of talent and skill, and to vote for your favorite artwork.

This weekend is the annual Gowanus Open Studios on Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20 from 12p-6p both days. Come visit Brooklyn Neighborhood Arts at 540 President. I’m Studio 27.

I’ll be showing four projects I’m working on along with old works. I’ll be chatting about how synaesthesia, location memory, and slow processing play into my artmaking. Hope to see you there!

Thank you @artsgowanus @emilychiavelli @_johnnythornton for organizing another exciting weekend, it’s going to be beautiful.

Beginning process to dress the loom with 624 ends, 170 inches each. Already in love with weaving math, and how this new medium feels natural to my practice 🧶
