Dashley does Italia Part Due! Tuscan dreams, acoustic sessions, summer rain, new friends and truffles. For us traveling is about discovering the stories. There are the stories of the land, the structures, the people we meet along the way, and the ones we are making up as we merrily roll along (sometimes about a vague weatherman).

Travel for us is about playing and finding new inspiration. It's about reconnecting with friends @cappycapla living in new places. It's also about reflection and shedding some of the stories we've been holding onto from home that are not serving us well.

We are grateful for the unexpected and enlightening stories we found at @borgosanfelice, @osteria.villasesta, and with @foxberrylondon. It was the most charming part of our journey! We will be back for a third time as it might be my favorite place in the world!

Nothing but positive vibes on Saturday celebrating Vivi! 🙌💃 I have to admit, I was a bit nervous leading up to the event since our family dynamics have changed since Reagan’s bat mitzvah.

I’ve only been divorced since September, and many of the people at the party I hadn’t seen since before then. I knew everyone would be kind, but it still felt scary.

In the days leading up, I spent a lot of time meditating—visualizing my body releasing any negativity that wasn’t serving me. I’d hold my palms down toward the floor and imagine it all sliding off. I asked the universe to clear me of any karma or negativity that’s not mine and to fill me with divine love.

And I’m so happy to say… the night was wonderful. It was TOTALLY Vivi!! 🏖️

I also want to thank my ex-husband Jason for planning the entire event with her. It was incredibly generous, especially given everything we’ve been through. I truly think it would’ve been extremely hard to do together so soon after the divorce. I’m so grateful to him. 🙏 And he absolutely nailed it. 🙌

It’s hard to describe how meaningful it was to have so many of my oldest and dearest friends there. Friendships that go back 25 years. It meant everything to me to have y’all dancin beside me! It’s a night I will always remember and cherish. 💫#batmitzvah #grateful #meditate

My baby’s Bat Mitzvah is on Saturday! To kick off the weekend I hosted an alfresco dinner with a menu featuring Vivi‘s faves …Mostly @heymommaashley recipes.

Appetizers:
Spicy Tuna,and Salmon poke, in wonton cups
Caviar and potato chips
Brie baked in a sourdough boule with pepper jelly

Dinner:
Beef tenderloin with horseradish sauce
Creamed spinach.
Scalloped potatoes,
Caesar salad
Rosemary, beer bread

For lots of reasons, this year I wanted to do something truly special for my birthday with a small group of people who bring me so much joy.

I’ve spent years avoiding birthdays — not wanting to get older or be the center of attention — but after the roller coaster of 2025 and seeing how far I’ve come, I decided I deserved a weekend with the people who not only helped me survive last year but who consistently held me up and believed in me when I wasn’t sure I’d make it.

The weekend was my literal dream come true: a house in Joshua Tree, a little yoga, a sound bath, lots of crystals, card readings, Chakra sunglasses, a photoshoot, delicious home-cooked meals, the most beautiful lunch @kitcheninthedesert29 , fire Carajillos @masomenosbar , a stop at Pioneertown, and more laughter and love than I could’ve asked for.
A celebration of friendship and growth — a renewal of spirit, healing, and intention-setting. Definitely the best weekend I can remember in a long time. The year of the horse is off to an unbelievable start, and I welcome everything that comes next with an open heart and an open mind.

Hadn’t watched the Oscars in 15+ years… and still haven’t seen any of the nominated movies but I needed an excuse to celebrate life with some of my favorites, so we fired up @pizzagirl pizza grill and had an Oscar Pizza Party!

We made a HUGE mess, flour was everywhere, and didn’t watch much of the show… but we ate so well!
 🍕 Best Pizza: Ashley’s White Pizza - EVOO, fennel, roasted mushrooms, fresh Buffalo Mozzarella, few dollops of burrata, very light dusting of Italian blend cheese, fresh basil… and Salami…oops! I didn’t realize until I looked at the picture today that there was a tiny bit of salami on top. I’m sure that’s why I loved it so much and it was the WINNER!

Healing doesn’t happen in a bubble. It takes a village, a team. As we close out 2025, and complete a cycle that started for me when I was initially diagnosed with heart failure over 20 years ago, I am grateful for so many people who have supported me through the most intense cycle of my life. Starting with cardiologists and heart sisters to my spiritual tribe of healers, mentors and friends.

@case.kenny words ring true. I am insanely proud of the journey we’ve traveled together. Take a moment to think about all you’ve been through. Whether you’re stuck in the shit or just moving through it, I am insanely proud of you. I am insanely proud of me. I am insanely proud of us! When you emerge from the rubble of heartquake, take a look around and witness your strength, your resilience, your beauty. You are a force of nature. It’s time for your heart to take flight.

Sunday Fundays are few and far between for me but I recently hosted a lovely gathering of fantastic people at my new home. It started at noon and ended at 9:30 with dancing and @cafegratitude take out. A perfect representation for how I was feeling that day. So much gratitude for good friends, good food and good music. I highly recommend throwing down some blankets in the grass, opening a bottle of wine and just seeing where the day takes you. Sometimes, the simplest moments make the sweetest memories.
