For my ‘chairs in corners’ archive, this one from a recent shoot with @assemble_collective for @vetiverstreet ✨

I LOVE our Assemble team of three! We get to see insanely cool spaces and we have fun doing what we love and keeping each other inspired 🤍

The ghost of a way station with a ’70s plot twist – presenting 3210 SW Malcolm Court.

Set on .71 acres in Vista Hills, this singular home may have a history reaching well beyond its recorded build date. The site is thought to have housed the way station for overnight travelers between Portland and Hillsboro along the historic Canyon Road corridor, the route of the Great Plank Road in the 1850s. Beginning in the 1970s, the owner, an architect, transformed the structure through a sequence of additions, creating a distinctly Pacific Northwest home of wood, glass and unexpected geometries. Skylights, floor-to-ceiling windows and multiple decks, including a rooftop terrace, open the house to the surrounding woods, while the dramatic original stone fireplace remains at its heart, connecting its earliest history to the home that has grown around it.

To the Trade

Storied Objects is now welcoming new trade partners! This shift comes after much consideration and planning (probably too much planning). Our work here comes with an inherently slower pace, so we took our time—ensuring we could meet this new growth while still maintaining the experiences our customers have come to cherish at Oak Street. Thank you for being patient with us, we can’t wait to work with you.

If you are interested in joining our trade program, please send us a note to hello@shopstoriedobjects.com.
