A big Thank You to Thomas @awesome_athens_experiences for showing me round his City.

I was thinking of looking for an online map, and walking round myself.

However, not only did show me so many more than I could of found, he was able to add the stories behind the murals, and the artists who painted them.

If you’re in Athens, I would highly recommend one of their tours.

Now where to begin.

Last year, @ThompsonChicago hotel invited me to place one of my prints in all of their guest rooms. Together with @ArtistReplete and @lifeislit, 250 prints printed by @ava_grey were framed and hung in 250 guest rooms.

Opening next week, @thompsonchicago hotel and their beautiful restaurant @nicoosteria are hosting my next Solo Exhibition “BREATHE” for a couple of weeks with two public receptions on May 18th and May 25th. RSVPs are required and link is available in my bio.

@ArtistReplete is again co-producing this show with me. Grateful for their partnership in executing these experiences that I love to curate for my shows!

Pilsen photos .. too much to share, and not enough time & energy.

Big #THANKS to Friends Caron, Maria, Ruth, Salli & Mosmi for meeting me in my (one month) hood.
We enjoyed the day in (uncharacteristically warm and sunny!) mid 70 degree weather!

Including a #delightful and #informative 90 min Pilsen Mural Tour .. compliments of Luis Tubens @loganlupoetry via his biz, Pilsen Public Art Tours @pilsenpublicarttours .. in cooperation with the Pilsen Arts & Community House @pilsenartscommunityhouse. AND timed with the 20th annual 18th Street Pilsen Open Studios @pilsenopenstudios - 2022.
It was very nice getting to meet several of the #local Artists (who's personal and studios' work is featured around the world).

Who remembers? Who was there?!? 🥰🥰🥰

That makes TODAY our official 9 year anniversary. To pack in 9 years of memories into 45 seconds is damn near impossible but this is a start.

It really is wild to look back at all we've accomplished, together. Through our network of friends, artists, and collectors we've definitely left our mark on this city.

We've loved and lost - lived and learned - fallen down and gotten back up - but never stopped building.

CAN'T STOP, WON'T STOP.

From Division to Chicago Ave where we re-located in 2015 - the Wicker Park / West Town community has been consistently supportive of this small, female owned, business.

It's no secret - the success of a gallery is reliant on so much more than just one person. It truly takes a village. Chicago Truborn is a reflection of the artists we represent, the creatives who put their trust in the gallery, and make us look so good.

Our collectors... Well. What can we say? You have kept us going not just 9 years (11 if you're a day one) but through a pandemic too. We are nothing without you. Your support and loyalty means absolutely everything!!! THANK YOU!
