Just an absolutely impossible amount of events have happened in my life over the past 5 months. I started playing music again, bought a home that houses a family I love dearly, played soccer, and tons of other stuff I can’t think of right now.

Tons of good, tons of bad. Over all I’m doing well and life is good. The world’s pretty fucked up right now, but my little one is pretty damn good.

The last two weeks have been so delightful and energizing! And me thinks… this whole summer is going to be filled with community, art, music, comedy, and lots of love. (It’s the only way we will make it, folks!)

Anyway, enjoy my campsnap photos! And my soft reminder that i’m going to be mixing girly pop beats at @theroyalsgf for @alyssah_morr’s art show this Saturday! There’s going to be a whole lot of baddies with their art, poetry, and music! We love she/hers, she/theys, and they/thems!

okay! love you! bye!

The other day I was driving the boys home from school when I let out a yawn. Dmitry asked, “Daddy, are you tired?” I said, “Yeah buddy, it’s been a busy week at work.” Without hesitation he said:

“That’s okay, it’s okay to feel all the emotions. Happy, sad, angry, sleepy. None of them are bad. They’re all good to have.”

😭😭 From the mouths of babes. He’s only 4 years old. Moments like this make me so proud of the way their mom and I co-parent. Our main goal is to raise emotionally healthy children. I think we are doing a pretty dang good job.
