Oberlin Regional Rumble

Meet title is very accurate, the course was muddy, thick, and dense with basically quicksand 🫠

One of the toughest courses I’ve raced, the mud was everywhere and stopped my momentum at every convenience. Still proud of finishing and pushing through!

Didn’t have photos from last meet but I ran a 29:06 and had a course PR for Adrian heritage!

Lansing Invitational (31:51)

Can’t seem to shake these rough meets away. I’m hitting a wall in my training, and I need to push through it. Gotta stay humble, God’s got something in store for me. These meets are like this for a reason. Imma be patient, and Give it to the Lord above. ✝️

Tommy v Warrior XC Classic Season Opener (4 Miles: 24:45)

Most abysmal course I’ve ran on. 300+ feet of elevation gain in 4 miles + heat and humidity. Was a challenge, but I pushed through. Was proud of my first mile and striding down each hill.

Sienna Heights’ Final Home 1500m (4:38)

This season has been a rough battle throughout. I’ve been consistent with my times, but not improving how I’ve been seeking to. Taking this as a learning curve with all the unfortunate circumstances. All Glory to the Lord above 🙌

Next up, conference 🫡

Bill Bippes Cougar Classic 1500m 🐾 + 20th Birthday 🎉

Finishing time was 4:39, Progress is occurring. Not up to the standard I’m seeking yet, but my breathing and physical-being were strong throughout the race.

As I approach the halfway point to my college athletics career, I want to thank my team, friends, and family for their support in my journey thus far. A long road awaits me, but I’m eager for the future. All praise to the Lord above 🙌

Conferences is coming in the future 🔜

Polar Bear Classic 5k

Roughest meet I’ve had in a long time. Changing weather has been intruding on my body and mental space. Focused too much on the race and was toast from the start.

Putting the rest of the season in God’s hands and casting my anxiety to him (1 Peter 5:7 ✝️). Stressing less over races and focusing more on enjoyment and faith in the Lord above 🙏

WHAC Indoor Conferences @ Aquinas

Pretty successful two days of competition, even with the teams being stacked with times for distance

•5k (17:31): Personal best time with a stacked heat, was alone most of the race but still gave the effort.

•3k (10:03): More close competition in this event: almost achieved sub 10. Legs were giving out towards the end, but I’m proud of my effort.

All glory to God 🙌

Second meet. 34:34. I got a 2 minute course record and 4 minutes better than last year at Lansing. Strongest I’ve ever felt through 3 miles so I’m starting to feel super good about the rest of the season
