🚨 Summit night is here The team have reached School Hut… the final camp before they set off for Uhuru Peak, the roof of Africa. In a few hours, under cover of darkness, they’ll begin the toughest stretch of this entire expedition: the summit push. Maddy summed up the mood best: “BLOODY BUZZING!” Closely followed by “I am small and mighty,” and now, as the hours count down, “nervous and excited for tonight.” That’s exactly what a summit push feels like. The fear and the fire, side by side. And she’s not carrying either alone. From hospital beds to base camps. From setbacks to School Hut. This team has trained for months to get to this exact moment and tonight, they take the final steps. This is what your support makes possible.
