Spring in New York being real cute.

What an incredible week getting to be with @emma_webstah for her @petzelgallery opening. These paintings are so stunning and I’m so pleased to get to be part of this team. Getting to make books, video games (there’s a first) and exhibitions come to life with one of my best friends is so special.

Giant thank you to the whole Petzel team! What rockstars, most especially @kat__ntt

In a thoughtful collection, some works hang in quiet repose, while others practically bounce off the wall (or floor, or table) to demand a reaction.

For the collectors CULTURED interviews each week, there are also a few pieces that spark debates over dinner, prompt unexpected eyebrow-raises, and linger in the mind long after the front door closes. Whether they provoke awe, laughter, discomfort (or all three at once), each reveals something about its collector’s eye—and appetite for the unforgettable.

For CULTURED, 12 collectors answered the question: Which work in your home stops guests in their tracks, without fail? Link in bio for their responses.

@benhereandthere evangelizes contemporary art online—these are the pieces he lives with IRL.

As the LA-based founder of @fridayheaters the Young Collector creates artist interviews and exhibition tours for the TikTok generation. He collects work by emerging artists—and serves on the board of directors for non-profit Los Angeles Nomadic Division—with the same verve, curiosity, and enthusiasm he brings to his videos.

Follow along to see Weyerhaeuser spotlight a few of his favorite works, and meet the 10 other individuals on the eighth annual Young Collectors list at the link in bio.
