Truly speechless.. I reached out to Jacob few weeks ago from watching his podcast with Sal Frisella and others before that with Andy Frisella.. he asked me to send in a video of my story and ask a question at then end.. so I did ... never expected to feel what I do... my question was how do you handle hard days? . what have you learned from your guests about how they handle them? In a recent podcast conversation, Doug Sansone shared a lesson that has helped shape the way Sansone Group operates as a family business.

Years ago, his father designed the conference room with a round table for a reason: there is no head of the table. No one person has all the answers.

As he often said, “Two heads are better than one, and three heads are better than two.”

Working together doesn’t mean everyone approaches things the same way or always agrees. It means keeping ego in check, recognizing that different perspectives have value, and remembering that ultimately, everyone is working toward the same goal.

For a family business, that mindset can make all the difference.

Hard work works.

3 years ago I interviewed Sal Frisella, the CEO of 1st Phorm. I was sick as a dog and it was December 31st. I spent my New Years Eve doing two things:

(1) Editing that episode
(2) Writing out my goals

Now we’re back, 3 years later, with the biggest production I’ve ever done.
