What a whirlwind time in Victoria for @breakoutwest!

@ilabarkermusic & @amberneufeld presented our 3rd year of Feedforward - we had a record 19 submissions from amazing producers across Western Canada, and we got to learn from, listen and encourage @summerwitch, @bigfuzzmusic, @jintingzhao, @effemera.mp3, and @raven.nowhere - thank you so much for everyone's courage in sharing their work! Can't wait to see y'all release the fruits of your creative labour!

Other highlights included running around downtown trying to catch all the incredible showcases, and friendships made over these 4 days! And a very special roundtable and Producer Peer Exchange presented by @thebloomproject.ca - supporting and empowering the next generation of female/gender-diverse producers 💖

See ya in Edmonton next year! ✌️

Check out BIG FUZZ’s feature in this week’s issue of The Manitoban!

I sat down with Boris Tsun Hang Leung and chatted about relaunching BIG FUZZ, my anxiety about playing guitar & singing after being a drummer most of my life, and the journey that led me to Winnipeg to begin with.

“The hardest part for me in [relaunching] this project was going from zero to one, from everything crashing down to being ready to […] release songs.”

Well, it’s time—I’m ready.
FEARS is out Friday.

I needed some time.
BIG FUZZ needed some time.
Somewhere in that time, we became one.

New city. New songs. New identity as a solo act.
Otherwise, same BIG FUZZ—right down to the guitars.

Hi, I’m BIG FUZZ from Winnipeg, Canada.
Nice to meet you. 👋
See you in the New Year.
