Look at the five people you talk to most. That's the ceiling you're quietly agreeing to.

Nobody wants to hear it, but your environment is louder than your willpower. If the people around you are coasting, making peace with "good enough," and rolling their eyes at anyone who wants more... you will slowly, unconsciously shrink to match them. Not because you're weak, but because that's how humans work.

The opposite is just as true. Put yourself around women who are building, closing, raising their rates, and refusing to play small, and something in you straightens up. Their normal becomes your normal. Their standards recalibrate yours. You start reaching for things you wouldn't have said out loud a year ago.

You don't rise to your goals. You fall to the level of the room you're standing in.
So protect that room. Get around the people who make you want more, and become one of them.

Absolutely magical weekend here in Wonderland.

I’m beyond grateful to have been invited to spend some time with @joshgill_alteredstate , @matthewpvincent , @bonschro , and my brotherhood from @notdeadyet_life

A weekend of learning how to find the brakes, not just the gas. Learning to be more intentional instead of just more ambitious.

Some amazing experiences with sweat lodge, ceremony, and conversations with my brothers, Bonnie, and our shaman @lahuaira for the weekend. The sneaky favorite for me might have been the somatic body work with @willrezin It’s amazing what can happen when you open yourself up to the possibilities the universe puts in front of you.

I came here not really knowing what I needed from this weekend. I’m leaving with a much better idea of what I want to carry forward from it. It felt nice to be able to put down the sword and shield, get vulnerable and uncomfortable getting myself sorted out.

Thank you, Matt. Can’t wait to get back together in November.

Three days. So many conversations. And one big realization.

This was my second coaching business retreat, but the first time I truly felt like I belonged in the room. Not because I wasn't welcomed last time. I was. But imposter syndrome had me convinced everyone else had it figured out and I was just trying to keep up. This time, I showed up as me. And that changed everything.

Here's what hit me hardest: doubt is normal. Every coach/practitioner in that room had felt it. The ones who are growing just keep going anyway.

There's something so powerful about being surrounded by women who do what I do and choose to encourage instead of compete. No comparison, no scarcity, just women cheering each other on. I came home with new friendships that already feel deeper than I expected, and honestly? That's so refreshing. ♥️

I also got real with myself this week. It's so easy to slip fully into the role of wife and mom and let myself, and my business, quietly take a backseat. I know I'm not alone in that. It's exactly why I love working with women who are ready to put themselves and their health back on their own to-do list.

I care so deeply about my clients and the results they get. I feel that responsibility in my bones. But last week reminded me: I can't want it more than they do. My job is to guide, support, and show up fully. Their job is to take the steps. That's where the magic happens, together.

And getting out of my comfort zone? It was HARD. But just like I tell my clients every week, the discomfort is where the growth and the results live. So I practiced what I preach.

Grateful for every conversation, every lesson, and every woman who shared her story. Coming home with a full notebook and an even fuller heart.

“I have to go workout”

“I can’t wait till Friday”

“Ugh, I have to go to the store”

Instead how about trying

“I get to workout” , “I have a body that allows me to exercise for life”

“I have a job that supports my family, my house, etc” “I love what I do”

“I have the car, ability and time to go to the store”

Maybe some of these are a bit over the top, but that’s the point. If you change the way you talk to yourself or about the things you are doing your mindset starts to shift. There’s more positive in your day and things start to seem like a blessing.

Be grateful for what you are able & capable of doing.

When I say this is the literal best week of my entire year, I mean it.

There is nothing that replaces being in the room.

The connections. The conversations that happen when no one is recording. The things you learn about your business, but even more, the things you uncover about yourself.

This retreat is for practitioners, clinicians and coaches who know they’re capable of more. You want to scale. You want to lead at a higher level. You want to build something bigger without being the person everything depends on.

And sometimes the thing standing between where you are and that next level isn’t another strategy.

It’s you.

It’s getting out of your own way. Seeing the patterns you couldn’t see before. Having people around you who will challenge you, push you and remind you what you’re actually capable of.

That’s what happens in this room.

You leave with strategy, absolutely. But you also leave thinking differently about your business, your leadership and yourself.

And selfishly, I think I get just as much out of this week as everyone who comes.

I don’t do breathwork sessions like this on a regular basis…but after this one, I’m realizing I probably need to.

And if you think breathwork is a little too “woo woo” for you, you’ve probably never actually tried it.

There’s something incredibly powerful about intentionally slowing down, breathing, getting out of your head and giving your body space to process what you’ve been carrying.

It can be deeply personal. Emotional. Sometimes it can almost feel like an out-of-body experience, and what I love most is that everyone experiences it differently.

Some people see images. Some revisit memories. Some feel physical sensations. Some cry. Some shake. Some laugh. Some feel absolutely nothing until suddenly…they do.

For me, this time, it was words.

Words kept coming up over and over, and instead of trying to analyze them or push them away, I was reminded to simply get curious.

What is this trying to show me?

What am I still carrying?

What have I intellectually “worked through” but maybe haven’t fully released?

I spend a lot of time working on my business, but the deeper I get into entrepreneurship, the more I understand that working on me is part of working on the business too, because you can learn every strategy in the world, but eventually you’re going to meet the parts of yourself that strategy can’t fix.

The fear. The old stories. The walls. The need for control. The things you’ve buried because life required you to keep moving.

Sometimes growth looks like pushing forward, and sometimes growth looks like sitting in a room full of humans crying and finally giving yourself permission to stop holding everything together.

That room reminded me how much we’re all carrying beneath the surface, and how beautiful it is when we finally feel safe enough to put some of it down. 🫶

Some want a Lambo and a mansion.

Give me my friends 30 camels and a sunset in the desert any day.

I want to have more “once in a lifetime” experiences than I can remember.

Prioritize relationships, experiences, and being present with people you love.

Anything else is just to facilitate more of this.
