POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Back in wonderland for another week long adventure representing our favorite bike shop @springstreetsports. Yesterday we tackled Little Sugar. Race 5 for me this year and fortunately able to check another box while shaving off over a half hour from my time last year. It feels really good, even though my body currently disagrees. It was 100k of some of the most wonderful, yet relentless trail you’ll find anywhere. It was a solid test and it was so damn fun!

Bob had an adventure on the 50k course. A puncture in both tires ended his day early, but he’s got stories to tell and I’m so proud of him for taking on the challenge. He’s going to redeem himself on Saturday!

The last race of the year will be Big Sugar on Saturday. 100 miles of gravel for me and 50 miles for Bob. It’s going to be a blast. I hope the gravel gods treat us well! 😉 The goal at the beginning of the year was to tackle six races. Five down with one to go.🤞

Thank you @maahdaahhey100! You took me to a place I’ve never been before, on a few different levels. My support crew, the heat, the black flies, the amazing trail and landscape, all the wonderful people involved and participating in this event. What an adventure! A day I will never forget.

So many thanks to give. Thank you @boone.bob1 and @heathermishefske for the amazing support throughout the day. I’m forever grateful. Thank you @alliedcycleworks and @springstreetsports. The BC40 was everything I needed to get to the finish line, even though I had to hike a bike for a good share of it. Thank you @ignitioncoachco and my coach @kdevo4. The training was there through all of it. Hiring a coach is one of the best choices I’ve made in the past year.

Five days in the Cascades. 41 miles on the trail. Over 43,000 feet of elevation climbed.

This reel captures part of my experience on Pass to Pass Trip #12—a powerful backpacking journey along the Pacific Crest Trail near Ellensburg, Washington, deep in the Cascades. The Pass to Pass program brings together people impacted by Parkinson’s to prove something important: movement is powerful, community is stronger, and the mountains remind us what we’re capable of.

From alpine ridgelines to quiet forest miles, this section of trail out toward Pete Lake delivered everything the Pacific Northwest is known for—steep climbs, breathtaking views, and the kind of moments that make every step worth it.

Grateful to document this adventure and the incredible people who take on these mountains in the fight against Parkinson’s.

Framed by the evergreens, Lemah Mountain rises with rugged beauty along the Snoqualmie Crest. Captured while volunteering with @passtopassorg an incredible organization supporting those living with Parkinson’s, this journey was a reminder of both resilience and the power of community.

🌲🏔️ Every trail tells a story—this one speaks of strength, connection, and hope.

Sneak peak of a few more pieces for my 2024 Fall Vintage Sale.

Upcycle, reimagine & repurpose. One of a kind pieces with history. Thankful for Bob Boone and his engineering abilities to help me combine pieces that needed a bit of coaxing. And the basketball Hoop light fixture is super fun! Has a remote with lightning options.
