Jess is turning her curiosity into opportunity 💻

As Year 12 students start thinking about what's next, Bradfield Senior College graduate Jess is building a career in technology. 🚀

With dreams of working in IT and a love of singing, Jess chose Bradfield Senior College because its unique approach combines academic studies with creative opportunities. 🎤 🎶

Following her graduation last year, Jess secured a highly sought-after Technology Cadetship with the NSW Premier's Department, combining industry experience with further study. 👏

The three-year program is helping her build practical expertise in IT support and systems management, with the chance to specialise as her career progresses.

"I'm starting off as a general IT assistant, making sure systems run smoothly and helping with tech issues. As I learn more about different areas, I'll branch out into more specialised fields."

“House curtain. Standby”

Words I say often now, but I don’t think I realised the true meaning of it until writing this. The end of a journey. The end of a lifetime.
But the beginning of a new one.

What a 13 years it’s been. Coming from North Sydney Demonstration, all the way through to graduating two seperate high schools with two seperate certificates.
It’s been hard. Dealing with loss, challenges, and everything in between, but managing to push through.

I’ve met so many awesome people throughout my journey, many of whom I wouldn’t be where I am today without.

I’m looking forward to completing the god forsaken NESA Exams, and finally moving on. Finding a new place to call home.

Now, for one last time at Killarney Heights High, AND Bradfield Senior College,

Zoe is making her mark on the creative industries! ✨👗

While completing her HSC at Bradfield Senior College, Zoe embraced every opportunity to build her creative skills, including contributing to a project with Vivid Sydney that transformed recycled paper and seeds into a powerful sustainability focused installation. 🌱💡

After graduating, Zoe took her passion even further, studying a Bachelor of Fashion Design (HE20506V02) through the Fashion Design Studio - FDS - TAFE NSW Ultimo. There, she sharpened her skills in design, illustration, pattern making, sewing and business strategy. ️🧵

Since then, she's completed internships with leading fashion brands including Manning Cartell and Shona Joy, worked alongside established designers and showcased her own work under @zova_designs_ in community runway events across Sydney. 🚀

Zoe's advice for current students? "Make the most of every opportunity you have. The worst thing someone can say is no." 👏
