I’ve recently realized it’s not about the destination. It’s about becoming the person I need to be to reach AND maintain the destination. And I can finally (truthfully) say I’m enjoying the journey. I trust the process like never before. The internal unbecoming and becoming has been incredible to witness. I’m like a feign for it now😂😂

Forever grateful for this metamorphosis🦋

Some lore for those who are unfamiliar. I started my yoga practice shortly after a stay in the psych ward. The meds they gave me had me dealing with some wild side effects, and I knew if I stayed consistent with my yoga practice, I’d be fine. So I stopped taking them and had a consistent daily practice for about 2 years after. It worked. But these last few years I’ve been slacking and I’ve notice a hugeee difference.

So I’m recommitting to my yoga practice. Every single day no matter what. Which means if I don’t get a chance to earlier in the day and have to stay up later to get a session in, and by later I mean 2am🙃, then that’s just how it has to be. This worked for me but this isn’t medical advice and I’m not encouraging anyone to stop taking any prescriptions.

Yoga played a major part in helping to rewire my brain so I could stop falling into procrastination and other self sabotaging behaviors. It all starts with our nervous systems and (this is not medical advice) yoga made it possible to end the fight or flight loop I’d been stuck in for years.

When my body stopped living in fight-or-flight, my mind stopped screaming that every task was a threat. From there, focus felt safer. Showing up felt lighter. And momentum became possible again, one breath, one pose, one small promise kept at a time. That’s why Easefull will include a full video library of yoga flows and guided meditations, so you can practice regulation, not just productivity hacks.

But in the meantime, if procrastination has been winning lately, you’re not “lazy” or “undisciplined.” Your nervous system might just be overwhelmed, and practices that help you regulate can change everything. Save this for later, and share it with someone who needs the reminder.☺️✨

Fleeting motivation that pushes performance then right back to procrastination. Thats probably been your experience with productivity game apps. Easefull is being created to support gentle, sustainable momentum. And Rest is an essential part of that process. Sometimes a pause and some stillness is exactly what we need. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Discipline isn’t the issue. Productivity only feels heavy when your brain thinks your identity is on the line. That pressure creates resistance which causes procrastination, ending in a burnout loop. This is a perception issue.

But when you make tasks feel safer, lighter, and optional, your brain stops fighting you and the momentum can break through. Save this for when your to-do list feels like a 20-pound weight on your chest🧠✨

Procrastination had me in a chokehold 🫠 and as a former productivity game app user, I would’ve greatly appreciated something like this. Something that held my attention for more than a week, and explained why I was procrastinating, when it made no sense for me to do so. There aren’t many (if any) products out there designed for this, so I decided to create one.

The Easefull app is being designed as a long and short-term solution to procrastination. Its functions and features won’t allow users to lie to it if they want their dopamine at the end. They’ll get the quick and easy dopamine from the prizes, along with the quality dopamine we get when we come to understand ourselves on a deeper level.

This will incentivize them to stay on the app long enough to see real, sustainable change (and tell everyone they know about it😉). Parents can use it to trick kids into doing chores too lol. If you want to contribute some feedback or join the waitlist, DM me and we’ll make that happen.

Otherwise, stay tuned for updates🤸🏽‍♀️

The beliefs aren’t obvious to you because they lie in your subconscious. But still, correcting this is easier than you think. It starts with awareness. And the best way to create awareness? Putting your thoughts on a page. Writing things out brings instant clarity while reducing mental load.

Thoughts become more structured, which creates an easy path to identifying the core beliefs those thoughts stem from. To help you out, I’ve created 5 journal prompts to guide you through getting to the bottom of why you procrastinate and how to avoid it in the future💡

Leave a “❓” and I’ll send you the 5 prompts.
