OK Gang!
The @baltimorerunfest is upon us! Today is packet pick up day!
Saw many familiar faces in the Convention Center. Loved the energy in the crowds.
Now the first round of fueling begins. One more sleep until tomorrow morning and the #baltimoronathon for me! #whosreadyforthis

What do you do when you have to skip the Staten Island Half because your lower back decides not to cooperate?
You imagine a nice, normal weekend. Sleeping in, breakfast in bed, maybe a Netflix marathon. Sounds lovely, right?

Yeah. About that.

Somehow, you still find yourself waking up at 4 AM, spending your free time working at races, supporting runners, and standing in the pouring rain for hours cheering on your teammates. Then you finally get home, sit down, and start working on training plans.

And just like that, the weekend is gone.

You didn't rest. You didn't sleep in. In fact, you barely slept at all.

But here's the funny part. You're happy.

Happy because you got to help others. Happy because you spent time with people you genuinely enjoy being around. Happy because you watched people work hard, cross finish lines, and achieve something that matters to them.
And somehow, in your own little way, you got to be part of their stories. Sometimes the best weekends aren't about what you accomplish yourself, but what you get to be part of.

Anyway, someone please define a "normal weekend" for me. Because apparently, I have no idea. Lol.

🌧️🌈 The best part of race day wasn't the race. It was the people. ❤️

Today was wet, windy, and downright miserable at times, but somehow my heart was so full. 🥹

One of my favorite things about running is the community I've found along the way. Today was such a beautiful reminder of that.

❤️ Briccio, who waited with me after the race to catch the ferry back and then shared a wonderful post-race lunch with me. Because sometimes the best part of running is everything that happens after the finish line.

❤️ Coach Otti, who came ALL the way from Queens, rode the morning ferry over with me, and was there just to cheer us on!

❤️ Keith, who ALSO came all the way from Queens to stand in the pouring rain cheering us on, and then rode the ferry back with me. Seriously, who does that?! Our amazing running family, that's who!

❤️ Amir, for the smiles and encouragement both before the race and out on the course.

❤️ Bob, who graciously let me use his marathon poncho as a makeshift changing room so I could get out of my soaking wet clothes, with Ben there too! 😂 Now THAT is friendship!

And to all the friends, familiar faces, and run club family I saw along the way, you made today something special.

Not once did I feel alone. Not before the race, not during, and not after.

Running may be an individual sport, but it has given me a community that shows up for one another, even when showing up means standing in the pouring rain. 🥹

I may have crossed that finish line on my own two feet, but I was surrounded by love every step of the way.

These are my people. And I am one very lucky tutu runner girl. 🌈🏃‍♀️❤️

OK Gang!
Another trip to Philadelphia reaps rewards! Strava gave me my fastest 10K, my chip time was better than I expected and if it weren’t for a cramp in my left leg while walking back to the train, everything would be perfect.
Now to hit the @wawa, watch the @philadelphiaeagles and head for home!

OK Gang! It’s #flatlay time!
The @philadelphiadistancerun awaits tomorrow morning. Two rounds of fueling before bed should put us in the proper mind set. I will see everyone from @run_856 on @ridepatco tomorrow morning!
My congratulations to everyone who ran #repyourruncrew in Baltimore this morning. All I can say is that I overslept…..

My #virtualchuck12 is done! I should be a local legend on @strava since I have run this loop so many times! But this virtual racing stuff is getting old…..
At least the #b3challenge is done for this year!

OK Gang!
Now THAT was a great time! Running the steps @lincolnfinancialfield is something I never thought I would get to do. So when I saw the chance show up on the @philadelphiaeagles app…. How could I resist?
Even an empty stadium has its own unique atmosphere and energy! Especially when you are running with family… Eagles fans that is!
Next up…. @thephilly10k! The #flatlay drops tonight at 7:00 PM! #whosreadyforthis

Nothing suspicious here. Just five very serious runners making very unserious playlist choices at Summer Streets.

P.S. @bklyn.run.mama — be honest, did we pass the Shokz vibe check?
