Second one that I couldn’t not share!

2X!!! Joining an elite club here for @byemombod

In bodybuilding, I think we all search for that stamp of approval at some point. That moment where you finally feel like you belong and all the years of hard work are validated.

But what happens after you win for the first time?

Was it luck? Was I really that good? Maybe everything just lined up perfectly that day. What if I can never do it again?

I think those are questions that cross the minds of more champions than people realize.

She came into this year with a completely different attitude, a different level of confidence, and a whole new mindset. She put together an incredible championship season and proved that the first time was no accident.

I always say, act like a pro if you want to be a pro. And you are the prime example of exactly what I mean by that.

At this point, winning isn’t a surprise anymore. It’s becoming the expectation. Not because it’s easy, but because of the standard you’ve set for yourself and the work you’re willing to put in to back it up.

But what makes me the proudest isn’t another trophy or another title. It’s how you’ve learned to handle everything else that comes with this sport. The pressure, the expectations, the setbacks, the sacrifices, and all the things life throws at you while you’re trying to chase something most people will never understand.

Watching you grow into the caliber athlete that you are has been super fun!

You’ve earned every bit of this, and I truly believe we’re nowhere near finished!

This prep taught me more about myself than I ever could’ve imagined. Not only did I achieve the best look of my life, but I learned so much about discipline, sacrifice, patience, and what it truly means to commit yourself to something bigger than yourself. There were lessons learned through the highs, the lows, the difficult days, and the moments when things didn’t go as planned. Looking back, I wouldn’t trade any of it, because every experience helped shape me into the person and athlete I am today. But one of the biggest things I’m walking away with is a greater appreciation for the people who have stood in my corner throughout this journey. No prep is accomplished alone, and I’m beyond grateful for every individual who has played a part in helping me get to this point.

I want to thank every individual who had a helping hand in making this prep what it was, especially my Family and Friends. Whether it was guidance, support, encouragement, a check-in, a conversation, a kind word, or simply taking the time to show that you cared, it all meant more to me than you know. There were days when the smallest things made the biggest difference, and I’ll never overlook the people who took the time to pour into me along the way.

@h_rhoades Thankyou, I honestly don’t even know where to start with this because I feel like there’s no way I could ever put into words how grateful I am for you and everything you’ve done for me over these last four years. First and foremost, thank you for believing in me. Thank you for seeing something in me and helping me build it into something I never could have imagined when I first started this journey. You haven’t just coached me for 20 weeks this prep, You’ve been a huge part of the person I’ve become over the last four years. You’ve helped me build my physique, but more importantly, you’ve helped me build myself and make that little kid that used to be bullied for being fat inside me proud of what I have become. Those 20 weeks of prep have been some of the hardest weeks I’ve ever put myself through. There were days where I was exhausted, hungry, mentally drained, frustrated, and probably not the easiest p

I think I found my sport….only took 40 years! ☺️

My very first NPC bodybuilding competition, and I’m still trying to find the words to describe just how incredible this journey has been.

I went into this experience with goals, determination, and a vision of what I wanted to accomplish. But what I walked away with was SO much more than medals and placings. The memories made, the friendships formed, the people I met, and the overwhelming amount of love and support are truly unmatched. ❤️

A million thank yous to my amazing husband @raul.martinez.jr, my family and my friends who supported me every step of the way. To my coach @ramongbuilt, posing coach @krristinanicole, and bodywork sponsor @rcvryregimen, THANK YOU for believing in me, pushing me, helping me grow, and being part of this journey.

And a HUGE thank you to Whitney Jones(@wjc_productions) and her incredible crew for putting on such an amazing show! From beginning to end, the entire experience exceeded my expectations. What an amazing introduction to the NPC bodybuilding world.

My first show results: 🏆

🥇 1st Place — True Novice

🥈 2nd Place — Novice

🥈 2nd Place — Overall

🥉 3rd Place — Masters 40+

🏅 5th Place — Masters 35+

My first show may be over, but I have a feeling this is only the beginning. I’ve officially fallen in love with this sport, and I already can’t wait to step on that stage again!

5 KIDS LATER, SHE BECAME A BODYBUILDER 🤯 I interviewed @byemombod and asked her what pushed her to take fitness to the next level. After having five kids, she decided to challenge herself with bodybuilding—even after being told she didn’t have it in her. She also opened up about an unplanned pregnancy in college and how adversity gave her the grit to keep pushing forward. Her message? Everyone starts somewhere, stay consistent, and remember you can do hard things.

People often ask me what it’s really like to compete.

Well, here’s a little taste of what happens behind the scenes.

Sure, there’s plenty of downtime, nervous energy, early mornings, suit glue and yes… some pretty questionable smells backstage. 😅

But there’s also so much more.

The excitement when it’s finally your turn to step on stage. The pride that comes from seeing months of hard work come together. The friendships built with people who understand exactly what it takes to get there. The laughter, encouragement, and shared experience that make the journey unforgettable.

Most people only see the few minutes under the bright lights. What they don’t see is the camaraderie, the support, and the memories made behind the stage.

And honestly? That’s one of my favorite parts of competing. ❤️

Being strong and confident, is not the same as being comfortable as the center of attention. Many Strong women struggle with posing not because they are incapable

They struggle because they’re used to working, not being watched.

Though we have worked for this, being the center of attention is hard for some of us.

Learning to pose is about learning how to showcase your physique with confidence and own the space you’ve earned.

If posing has ever felt awkward or uncomfortable, understand that you can learn how to move your body, own your space and dominate the stage. Strong is feminine and beautiful. Comment and share your story if posing has ever felt awkward or unnatural….how did you overcome?
