Meet @bytembrownie , @bytem.jack and @bytem.jacob , the co-founders turning Jack’s mom’s brownie recipe into the first premium pantry brownie bite. They met as freshmen in the dorms at American University, and when their co-packer needed emergency surgery two days before their planned launch, they waited it out, made brownies the night of the 13th, and launched on Valentine’s Day 2025. Today Byte’m is in roughly 1,000 stores, almost all of it inbound. It wasn’t a straight line that got them here. It was a protein ice cream idea in 2020 that their roommate kept eating, a lost pallet of custom Italian pans worth $40,000, and a packaging redesign sparked by feedback while sampling at Butterfield Market. Now they’re bootstrapped, looking to raise, and setting their sights on Target and Walmart. While scrolling through LinkedIn, I came across a post from @bytem.jack the co-founder of @bytembrownie I absolutely loved his perspective on moving towards the physical retail space, because it is truly the best way to build a real, face-to-face connection with customers. Reading his insights got me thinking about one thing: email and SMS marketing remain the highest ROI channels, but only if the digital strategy focuses on building that exact same deep connection. That thought made me highly curious to study their story and see how Byte’m bridges the gap between the retail shelf and the digital inbox. I absolutely love how Byte’m stayed true to its origins by scaling Jack’s mom’s authentic, crispy-edged homemade brownie recipe. I really admire how much this brand actually wants to connect with its community rather than just pushing a fast transaction. While exploring their site, I noticed they have a great offer on their pop-up, but the design itself holds a massive opportunity. It doesn't represent the soul of the brand yet, as it still uses stock Klaviyo template images. when I signed up through the pop-up, I didn't receive any welcome email at all. That is exactly why I dedicated hours to deeply understanding their brand story and core principles to build an entire first-touchpoint structure for Byte'm. My entire focus was to design a concept that prioritizes building a deep, personal connection with the brand while making that crucial first impression so much better. I genuinely love what this brand stands for, and I truly hope this video reaches Jack and the @bytem.jacob A massive congratulations to the entire Byte’m team,Jack, and Jacob on their incredible growth.🍫🚀 Really loved how Byte'm is actually stand out in the market.
