Take your time, mountains are big, and not easily thwarted. Send love with postcards and ride a horse soon. If the time comes that you’re a little less excited, go fall asleep under your favourite tree and wait for the words to come.

Making an album is building a world, and if you’re lucky enough, a community. Releasing Green and Trying “independently” actually meant I needed more help than ever, and I somehow ended up surrounded by the most talented artists and friends who contributed their time, gifts, and light to this album. I am indebted, majorly, and overwhelmed by the love I’ve received today. It means more than I can express 💚🌱🍀 this is us shooting the cover concept in my mom-in-law’s backyard on a day I’d describe as not warm enough personally with @miramac @callumgunn @danicaslinger

Where would I be without this guy! And where would our party gang vocals be on Green and Trying? NOWHERE @davidvertesi

@rebwednesday capturing me so wonderfully throughout this album

Co-producers, ship captains, sonic fathers. So lucky to have had these songs in the care of @davidvertesi and @jonathaninc

Writing Dreaming with @lonas_music first time we met in Nashville

So lucky to have had @reignjcruz along for this journey, elevating video visuals and making shooting stuff not so scary

Harm stacking at Western Lake! My fave

It’s insane how good @danielklenner is at drums? Watching him track was otherworldly

I say:

"Miranda, life is short."

She says:

"Not if you’re doing it properly."

If blood makes you family,
then friendship is the more adventurous experiment.

Because we choose it.

And I choose Miranda.

Again and again & again.

Miranda MacDougall bestie, sister, neighbour, inspiration, cod-parent, role model & occasional accomplice.

AND permanent evidence that civilization
has not completely gone to hell.

I love you so my friend. HBD
