This week, @repbrandongill asked the Smithsonian's museum director if it's "appropriate" to sell hats that say Latina Power. He asked her five times. He also asked her, point blank, "What is Latina power?" We've got an answer. This is Latina Power. 🧡 It's the women in our network building businesses that fund their families, hire their neighbors, reinvest in their communities, and make a positive impact on our planet. It's culture and resilience and language, worn loud, on a hat, in a boardroom, wherever we want. Here's our answer, in the form of the people doing that work: @thewineandchisme @belgicacrespo @dr.meggers @therepacadem @sunmudsunscreen @sdclimateweek @yluego.pod @cami_can @culturalvisionaries @todosxdance @birthlineofsandiego @helena_livro_salon @maciel.chaidez @axiomofpurpose @tidalpagessd @supervisoraguirre @cobiux @founderfuego @fabilous_charcuterie @nadi_marketing Know a Latina-owned business we should be shouting out next? Drop it below — let's support all the Latinas. Now that is Latina Power. Five questions about a hat. Imagine that energy spent on anything that actually helps people. #LatinaPower #ThisIsLatinaPower #latinaowned #latinaownedbusiness #latinaandproud
