Since some other people are doing this, I thought I would do it too.
This is the Dakotaraptor/Acheroraptor challenge! The rules are simple: draw a Dakotaraptor! There are some criteria, though.
1. All entries must have some feathers
2. All entries must be somewhat scientifically accurate (correct proportions)
3. For all missing portions of the fossil, use closely related genera (deinonychus, dromeosaurus, etc)

Or, if you want, you can draw the velociraptorine Acheroraptor, using the Acheroraptor upper jaw and Velociraptor material. Either choice is fine!

If you were challenged, that does not mean you need to participate. The winner of the challenge gets bragging rights (three winners will be selected)
Entries due by the end of February, let me know if you would like to opt in or opt out.

Once you are finished, tag your drawing under #dakotaraptorchallenge .

NOTE: Acheroraptor may not be a Velociraptorine, and Dakotaraptor may not be its own genus. For simplicity’s sake, I’m referring to Dakotaraptor as Dakotaraptor and to Acheroraptor as a Velociraptorine.
